9 is a movie that I think most people have forgotten about but i honestly really like it and really want a sequel to it. #9 #elijahwood #johncreilly #jenniferconnelly #animated #movies #film #movie #middayreviews
I wish I saw it as a kid in theatres but my dad thought it was too creepy lol. It’s been in my mind ever since seeing those ads in the theatre, and I even remember seeing toys of them in those theatre toy dispensers thing for like 2 bucks each of each character. I wish it got a sequel cuz it’s such a good movie and like a dark LittleBigPlanet
@@McServers2000 I thought Coraline was a creepy movie because it’s Rated PG they show like bunch of scary scenes and 9 2009 (film) is rated PG-13 I mean I don’t think it’s that creepy they only show some scary scenes in the movie. I love the movie 9 the characters of 9 look like little big planet and Minions.
omg I watched this with my dad when it came out! it ended up becoming a brain worm for me as something always in the back of my mind and I ended up rewatching it a few times since then. Never disappoints.
my husband and i were literally talking about this movie a couple days ago. i love it this movie it was a great little story about being brave and chasing our dreams
I was in middle school at the time and remember being hyped about the trailer with the Coheed and Cambria song in it and would rewatch it over and over again. Although I remember being pretty underwhelmed by the movie itself tbh. Would give it a re-watch though.
I remember being a part of the niche fandom it had back then, still remember the cool stories people would make with the story concepts and make their own characters
I was obsessed with this movie for many years. So much so that it’s the very reason I’m a part of the internet today. It was the very first fandom I was in. Despite its flaws, I will always have a special place in my heart for this movie. 💚
9 was one of my favorite movies to watch alongside Coraline. My dad halfway regretted buying the movie for me (since I was young at the time) but I watched this movies over and over
The bipedal war machines were my favorite things from this movie. Their presence really felt intimidating and powerful. Like a truly unstoppable force.
I LOVE this movie! I remember seeing it somewhere as a DVD and buying it immediately, which was something I never did without already knowing I like the movie, and it did not disappoint. I still have that DVD and show it to as many people as I can lol. 9 is painfully underrated!
I remember seeing the first promo for this movie and it really creeped me out as a kid. Never got around to watchinclg the whole thing, but the concept alone makes it already intriguing
I adore this movie so much. It's trailer always plays when I watch my coraline disk, and it's very nostalgic for me. The first time I saw it I was scared for a while but now that I'm older I love the film. It's so underrated.
I remember watching this movie when I was younger I didn’t care that it was dark or scary because it inspired me to draw the dark and scary stuff to the drawings I make if I feel twisted to draw them with like a prothetic spine being forced out of their back, killing someone or something, going crazy from hunger, self harm, trauma, where experimented on and the list goes on. Making them express emotions and personality is key to have a good oc with a back story this part is just a tip for people who are having a hard time with their characters back story I hope this helps
Saw the movie when i was 7, was traumatized at first, but then i grew to love it. I seen fun fanart and it really is how it kick started my creativity. 9 was the reason why i started art and drawing in the first place 😁
I saw it when I was very young and I don't know about any other movie having so much emotional impact on me. the creator putting his life force into the minions just had me totally dead inside and I was very scared for a long time.
This movie was always the first thing my cousins and I would want to watch when we were at the lake house, where we had no Wi-Fi or, for most of us, we didn’t even have electronics at the time. We had it on DvD and it had to be the most watched movie on our little collection of kids movies. All of us liked it, some of us loved it. One of us was a bit obsessed with it(it wasn’t me). Great memories and I still love the movie, though now watching it when I’m older I see some things differently and understand more of the movie, and that actually helps a lot. Still absolutely love it.
We need a sequel that's actually well thought out that sheds light on origins or the aftermath of them surviving, unlike many out there. Yes, I'm looking at you, megamind 2
Omg I saw this when I was a kid and forgot it existed, I remember being absolutely fascinated with the dark, apocalyptic world and it just intrigued me
I watched this once when I was little. I’ve tried to find it since then, but every time I tried to describe it to someone, they told me I was crazy so I started believing it was a fever dream I had. IT WAS NOT A FEVER DREAM!!!!!
I remember watching this movie when i was a lot younger and closer to when it came out and i loved it. Ive always loved tim burtons work and these types of movies hit hard for me
This was one of my absolute favorite movies as a little kid, and I just rematched it, and I gotta say it really holds up and is still one of my favorites
This is literally a masterpiece I love this movie with like every single part of my soul I just like the monster designs a lot and also the characters and how dark it get a genuinely surprises me how dark it gets
I watched this movie a LOT growing up, Stands to be one of my absolute favorite movies of all time as an adult. Probably not the best thing to show a small child because of the in depth esoteric themes and the dark reality of a war-torn world (dead bodies included) but overall is an amazing work.
2009 was just a stacked year for year for movies imagine choosing between this, coraline, cloudy with a chance of meatballs or transformers as a kid 😭😭😭😭😭
Whenever I first saw this movie, I was a little kid. I barely remember any of it. And yet this is the movie that got me so into horror movies that the second movie I would ever really like. Not the second movie I would ever watch. The second one I would ever truly love would be nightmare on elm street this is the movie that got being into this.Nightmare on elm street cemented it for me.
When I found this I was so happy somebody else knows about the movie! hopefully I can meet other fans about it, and honestly it is kinda boring being the only one in my friend groups that knows about it.
Man I try to introduce my friends to stuff like 9, cause it’s so good but they immediately dismiss it because it looks creepy or weird. They don’t know how good this stuff is!!
