If you mean in tournaments he is really bad, he lacks chase, his map pressure is non existent just like his camping. If you meant ranked, he is a popular one so a lot of people use him already.

His chase sucks butt, especially his map pressure unless you can work it out with his teleport + card trick.

The ciphers shake when people decode them and if you have a good eye you can spot them sometimes Might be hearing sounds of footsteps and/or breathing too. Not sure about the later because I don't play with sound on :)

I just came back to say that it doesn't make sense to bring detention for Joseph because if you arrived the point where you need detention, you probably lost already, it won't do much, unless the survivors are worker bees. Detention doesn't make sense for Joseph because most of the team will be chip damaged, if you play your cards right. Also he's strong the most when it's early game, all top Joseph carry no detention, if you play Joseph in high tiers, you'll realize that if you want to extract the most of Joseph, you don't bring detention

@@ethaphu5589 yeah he doesn't need it and I don't always bring detention playing multiple hunters but sometimes when a match goes bad it actually turns it into a draw which is much better than a loss.

Because of his persona, there’s traits that can do that

he's always been the fastest hunter to recover from breaking pallets, and with the correct persona build his recovery animation is just non-existence 😂

That's only for replays, I think. You can enable and disable it by the star thingy symbol on the bottom left, beside the binoculars. I don't think you can use it on a match

Why would you put geisha in the B tier list she's one of the strongest hunter rn and her map control is really good and cipher pressuring

Geisha is one of the weakest Hunter based from -Hitbox -Skill -Newbie player -Controlling map Her hitbox really SHORT, and Geisha even get name as "queen pallet" because the hitbox really short and cannot get a hit pallet. Gotta say, the first gen Geisha(before have butterfly) is more stronger than the new one. Yes the butterfly make Geisha can go infront of a pallet that has been dropped(technically like blink) but if the butterfly got touch by the survivor and they really infront of geisha, she cannot Dash to them. Before i play Geisha, i find that play as her is fun, but turn out, i really struggle with her, and you can see too from Geisha proplayer gameplay, most of them win by survivor making big mistake or detention. Geisha controlling map is so weak, she didn't have skill that can see survivor (like Antonio,Joker etc) and she didn't have skill that can hurt survivor except basic attack(like joseph| i don't include dw and ann since dw can control her followers which is still makes sense and ann can stun survivor with her cat). We can see she's very weak🤨. Basically if you want controlling map as Geisha you must know where they are and Dash to the place. This is my opinion. still kinda disagree if someone say Geisha is up b tier Edit: add some thing, Joseph 2nd skill can tell where are the survivor (if you don't know search it up on yt) even Joseph is weak too, but see newbie player can adapt with him more fast than Geisha and from pro player i make him in to A tier

Just because she's name "the queen of pallet stun" doesn't mean she's a bad hunter and plus it's just her hitbox that is weird her hit box is bad but her map control is good because of her "butterfly 🦋" and bruh do you even know that the old geisha is easy to anti or kite and it's hard to go through the other side of the map when it's the old geisha unlike now you just need to throw the butterfly to go through the other side of the map unlike Joseph who doesn't have any skills just to teleport and use photo and his map pressure isn't that good

i have been following him (yuelan) for awhile now, there's a channel on YT that uploads some of his streams, alternatively you can watch him on bilibili or huya. he plays joseph really well. was the hunter for BZY (COA3 & COA4 china qualifier). occasionally i see him play ann/feaster on his streams too

you use his teleport skill quickly, the camera angle will tell you where's the nearest survivor at. for example your camera angle is looking at south, if you use your teleport skill, it will change the camera angle to wherever the survivor is.

well I mean, if it's a joseph, best way to create distance is pallet-spam him, cuz you can't juke him it's too risky he has a 180° hitbox but his hitbox is also unbelievably very short. juking mary, michiko, and jack are easy though so dont need pallet spam them. this is why it's so easy to kite jos im dying😭😭😭😭, dont need skill just pallet spam, he'll never catch up his chase is *that* bad

Why would they risk a blink? Or getting hurt while waiting in a kiting area. Since his chase is so bad pallet spamming is the best option to make more distance. He can also use his card ability and catch you by surprise.

Because he can use card to go back if they loop him. Plus most Joseph brings blink

No, Joseph lacks in chase and map pressure. He depends on his camera v heavily and he's a very hard hunter to use. This Joseph player is the 1st Joseph in China bcs they're amazing w/ Joseph. Trust me, Joseph isn't easy to use. Very easy to counter.

@@ethancriss1634 That's because Joseph is supposed to be the hunter to counter cipher rushing. He's supposed to make the game longer than 5 minutes but NetEase decided to add accelerated decoding and that really screwed him over :/ All you have to do if you see a camera is hide in a corner and DO NOT touch the cipher you spawn in cuz Joseph takes a lot of skill and usually they already know the survivor spawn points. Just get off your cipher cuz he's v easy to get away from.

@@ethancriss1634 Which is why,you as a survivor is adviced to not decoded in front of a camera and be aware to your surrounding all of the time, understanding what he's gonna do and what you should do. If you do want to decode near a camera, make sure to check in the photo world from time to time to see if he's nearby so you can run away before he could hit you. He's counterable at best he's weak and he's not hard to play against because he doesn't have chasing skill at all, easy to loop and his camp is non existent too.

It’s very possible to beat him. You just need to actually put in the effort to fight back if he’s that good

That’s literally the point of joseph, he’s overpowered that’s why you can only use him in rank or normal match, so survivors in high tier know how to counter him more but some joseph mains are really pro and know how to use him
