Combine that freakish athleticism with a mind that really wants it bad and will work for it no matter how hard the cost. That's Micah. We get to witness a special player when 11 out there 🥳
@@dontetank09 as a cowboy fan I think he low key wishes he played for philly too lol BUT i hope we keep him. watching him VS lane is like a clinic on two of the best going against each other.
So lucky to have this guy on my favorite team in sports. To see a kid like this, who has ALL the physical talent in the world, to have that kind of motor, and eagerness to get better, makes him that much more awesome to watch on a weekly basis. I cant wait to see how good he can get.
dude that's a REACH....he isn't there yet....Thomas got more than half of Parsons season sack totals in one damn game in 1990. He's damn good but Thomas was unbelievable.
@@jasonr.9520he's close!! For someone who drops back in coverage as much as he do his sacks totals are great. When the last time you seen a LB who can start at MLB & come off the edge & punish your Qb?
@nastravis3316 He could possibly end his career in Philly but Dallas will get his best prime years. Jerry isn't giving Zack Martin a pay raise in preparation for paying Micah, he'll be in Dallas for the next few years
Every once in a great while, you get to witness the combination of personalities and talents that are magnified and feed off each other. Dan Quinn and Micah Parsons is that combination. They make EVERYONE around them better. It's rare and glorious to witness.
As an NFL and Cowboys fan of 40+ years, I've never seen a player, especially from my favorite franchise, receive the universal accolades that Parsons receives. Fans in Philly, D.C., NYC, and everywhere else, all have the same things to say. Just check out these comments. The man is truly special.
People like to compare this guy to that guy these days, but I have never seen a player that creates as much chaos as this guy. His talent and motor are something that only the greatest players of all time have. He is special.
In the bears game he was rushing fields. Fields throw the ball parson ran after the player recovered the fumble got up and ran it in for a TD. Shows how he just keep playing
My favorite play of his last year was there was a big run to his side. By all rights he could've stood there and watched cause he was ABSOLUTELY out of the play. But he was hustling, there was a fumble, he recovered it and then was able to return it like 25 yards. Pretty sure he was clocked at 22mph on that play too. But that just showed how amazing he is. The RB had like a 10 yard head start on Parsons but Micah was able to catch up enough to be able to pick up the fumble. He's something special. They don't make 'em like him too often. Maybe once a generation...but probably more like once a lifetime. The last one I had seen like him was LT as a child. Now I'm an old man and only getting to see that type of greatness again.
@kingme8815 Weird, what did Parsons do VS what did Jefferson do when the Vikings and Cowboys played? I was gonna wait but we can all see from the tape, one wasn't a factor (I realize there were other factors factoring into their input), the other disrupted and changed the game a few times. Gimme Parsons over JJ, on any team.
@@jaredroberts578 weird to say that the MVP , OPOY & DPOY are the top 3 players in the nfl? 🤣 nah bruh it’s WEIRD for you to think otherwise only because they aren’t on your favorite team. & if we’re basing who’s better than who off the “1 game they played each other” well , by that logic, we might as well claim Matt Ryan better than Mahomes too since he performed better than him last year when they played each other. Fuck outtaaaaaa here and come back when you got a better argument other than that weird shit Jared
@@jonny4ya great one of you with your sheep 🐑 comments 😒, is ok to have opinions as long is base on intelligence and not hate. Is like me hating on the eagles so I would say Jordan love is a better qb than Hurts. Or the whole Dez is not that good bc _______ is better.
@@spheenx2360 Bruh you literally said other people claim other players are better “players” then Micah, then you said “the cowboys hate is real.” My thing is how is that hating when people have different opinions, they don’t downplay how good of a player Micah is and have facts and stats and accolades to back it up??
The one thing I will say about Micah is that he is nothing like Lawrence Taylor. Here’s why: when people come out and say “Oh, he’s gonna be the next LT”, I’d like to remind all of you, that the reason why Lawrence Taylor was so aggressive in his day is because most the time he was on drugs. And because of that, his personal life suffered off of the field. Micah, on the other hand, is a class on his own, and he doesn’t need to have that comparison. You can line him up as an off the ball linebacker or an edge rusher, but at the end of the day he still gonna kick someone’s ass. The only thing he needs to tap off his greatness is some hardware on his fingers
Imagine if the Cowboys drafted T.J. Watt in 2017 instead of Taco Charlton and in 2021 was still able to draft Parsons. The Dallas defense would be nasty!
What could have been for the Eagles. If Howie Rosen takes Justin Jefferson instead of Reager like everyone else would have, they wouldn't have had to take D. Smith the next year and instead could have taken Parson before Dallas. Smith is a nice player, but Jefferson and Parsons on this Eagles team would be ridiculous. As a Cowboy fan, I'm glad that didn't happen.
Also Dallas had pick 10, so they’d have taken Micah if eagles weren’t desperate for a WR. Eagles were at 12, Dallas swapped to shaft NYG since Smith was a Giants fan and Giants made it obvious they wanted him.
Hes really a good edge rusher, and defense too. Last year ago, I remembered he said he wanted a jersey swap with aaron donald (Rams) after the game, but he didnt. maybe no time to do jersey swap after game? its alright. Congratulations to micah parsons!
Well since everyone seems to be watching our training camp rn, yall should be scared about how he is abusing everyone on the offense, even future HoFers. Somehow got even better 🦁🦁
I’m so mad we didn’t draft him as an eagles fan. I knew dude was gonna be special but I didn’t think he would be this special. The Lawrence Taylor comparisons fit the description
He is the best player in the NFL and he held the 49rs to only 19 points last year in the playoffs and Dak ruined it for him by throwing 3 interceptions in the RED ZONE.
He didn’t throw no 3 ints 23/37 206 yds 1TD 2ints But Zeke stat line was… 10 carries 26 yards as usual. Last 3 games he got 84 yards 0 TDs and nobody speak of “no run game for Dak” like you can go without it in the playoffs
Micah has a 93% pass rush win rate and can drop back into actual coverage on a WR or TE.....Myles has lesa than a 90% pass rush win rate and would look like a lost sheep dropping into coverage. Micah is more *talented*
@@VetteGetsEmWet tell me you don’t watch football without telling me you don’t watch football 😭 Micah hasnt even achieved what Myles did in his first two years so I’ll take the “lost sheep” lmfao oh and don’t forget “the lost sheep” was in an accident last year and had more sacks than Micah 🤣
@@3psyncoIt's clear here the one who doesn't watch football is you. Have you seen the rate of which he is double and tripled? Have you seen his success rate compared to the others and while being asked to do other things? Foh your boy ain't even in the same realm
I remember I wanted my falcons to draft him at #4, then saw he got Drafted to Dallas I texted my partna told em y’all got a major steal in the draft lol
I remember Dallas had J.smith and Leighton at Linebacker I was like we should get Patrick Micah fell to Dallas I still am not sure how. Bro has been an absolute baller since day 1 Dallas is 24-10 since he joined best in NFC during that period.
