9" Mistral Desk Fan. 

Here is a 9" Mistral Desk Fan in grey.
This fan was made by Mistral Sunray in the early 1980s. It also came in a 12" model aswell but however I have never seen one in person just on RU-vid.
This fan is very unusual and it has many similarities between the 9" Martec Desk Fan which was hard to find. It is not classified as rare necessarily.
The fan was tested on the 01/01/2007 by the electrician who tested it for the previous owner. It has a tag as you might be able to see on the cord. However, I don't know if it was tested again the following year.
This is a two speed model and it oscillates. The oscillation on this fan however causes some motor failure but it was fixed after a deep clean. I may tape the fan in the future and upload it but that's something that isn't looked at.
It has been in storage for ages from ehat it looks like. It was possibly stored in a garden shed, car shed, a storage unit or maybe even in the house. Rust has taken over the front cage but I fixed that during the deep clean.
Now let's move on to some of the positives of this gorgeous fan. It has a very unique Mistral logo on the base and one I have never seen. It has a powerful air delivery which proves that these older Mistral fans are much more efficient and better to use than modern day fans. It also has a unique badgecover on the front cage aswell. It uses the same one as the 9" Martec Desk Fan I discussed earlier.
