Hi Miriam. Your paintings are really incredible. How you do it I don’t know. When you’re painting flowers around the portraits do those all go in your reference too?
I usually create my own references, either from photos I take myself or from 3D renders I make in blender. I also use free stock images from deviant art. There’s a few good accounts that just post reference photos for artists, you just have to check the license and what kind of attribution they require. 🥰🤘🏼

Hi Miriam¡ I admires your work and your process. Thank you for sharing this with all of us here. My self confidence is not at all high right now. I’m just not sure how to do this yet because I’m not really in any way able to get my head around it. So my question to you is if you have any ideas before your start? Or you work in an intuitive way based in your skills about art? Or you work on something like a sketch and then you transmit it to the canvas? Curious just to put my self together and make art instead of just drawing something that looks good on paper and not something that is just for the art itself. And this have me stock and struggling with my own art. Thank you forward 🙏🏾☺️
I think she creates her own reference photos from what I’ve seen of her other videos. You just need to keep working, do some painting classes, never give up. It will all come and just keep working. You can do it!
