So I was Wiccan for a few years in my teen years. I'm 36 now, and about two years ago, I suddenly realized that I had been doing all sorts of witchy shit (reading Tarot, working with crystals, herbalism, manifestation rituals, moon rituals, etc), so I started studying again. Since then, I consider myself an eclectic green witch. This is a great video; much better than the typical "how to know you're a witch" videos on YT! Glad I found your channel!

Outstanding video! Thank you. I f I were to add another sign, it would be the discovery of something within yourself that manifests a change, whether in the self or in the outside world. This can be as simple as the power of an affirmation, or as astonishing as hands-on healing. As an example, I know someone whose car breaks down in a particular way every time he is angry. He yells at the kids and it breaks down. He is outraged that someone cut him off in traffic, and it breaks. He is furious about what the dealership charges him to fix it - again- and it breaks right there in the garage. If he was inquisitive, and perceptive enough, he might recognize that it is his own energy causing the problem. Until he recognizes the truth about his own energy, he will be clueless about how he could direct it to achieve something constructive. Recognizing our own potential for making magic is a sign.

First video I watched in your channel. This was so comforting. I come from a very strict religious background and have been having signs all along. Eventually in the last 2 years I have been silencing the noise around me and focusing in this inner discovery and WOW. It has been a journey!! The most marvellous thing, knowing your truth and that you are aligned, embracing your power and not letting people dim your light just because it is unconventional for people around you. These types of videos are usually so cliche, generic and honestly just ridiculous. Like oh you might be a witch because of this birth mark or because you have a crystal or because you own a cat etc. But the way you gave a truly authentic and sophisticated expression of our world was just a breath of fresh air. This is why I watch your channel, I just love the way you word things, I love your passion, I love the energy and magick that can be seen radiating around you. ❤️

Brilliant video Avalon! I find you to be such a clear, concise, intriguing speaker. I heard each word you said in this video and you made it easy to hear. Oh, you're so so right about the whole connection to nature in a totally different way than the average normal person would. Also being connected to rocks/stones/different water area's/ wanting to research everything nature/plants/medicines/old remedies/making your own personal skincare products/and then all those intentions behind why you're doing it in the first place, I think this alone can say a whole lot to a person just entering in the craft practice. But I also think that sensitive pple are also connected & can feel in this way.

Great to hear your answer to this question. I should have known. When I learned what manifestation really was I already knew I was doing that all the time already. When i stared learning about crystals i realize I had a bunch in my jewelry. And some of then i had a visoral response to.

Awesome video as always!! Love your content. All the signs you mentioned ring very true for me. I would add that sometimes a huge sign is when things you want/wish for/visualize start happening and you can’t rationalize why or how. This happens to me all the time, I’ll be wishing for something or I’ll say out loud that I want something to happen or even accidentally draw something in a notebook and BAM it comes true exactly how I manifested it, even if I wasn’t aware I was manifesting. A big challenge as a witch is to actually control and channel your intent - would also love to hear your thoughts on this. Maybe a video?

Thank you for this. I loved it. LOVED LOVED LOVED IT. Almost all of it resonates with me. I am a healer. A Reiki Grandmaster. Am on my Shamanic journey. Am a tarot reader and an author. Since for as long as I can remember, I remember being drawn to “these things”.. everytime the word witch was spoken I felt like I belonged. And I cannot tell you how freaking restless I have been, still am, to find my tribe, my coven.... I am sure you’d know what I mean. Like...there’s this restless energy within me that tells me that I still havent found my people. Its bizarre, it s beautiful, it surreal. :) I am so glad you put up that last point. And O MY GOD the wind and the thunderstorms and water.. when you were describing it I got so emotional, missing the feel of swimming (as pools are still not open in my country), and wanting to stand in the rain or just stay outside when the trees sing during storms and rains. I never thought of it as meaning something more. Do you have an FB group? Where we could come and hang out and chill and ask questions and all that?

I'm sad that it took me so long to find you on YT. I came across the odd video in the past, but I didn't dig deep into your archive until recently, and wow. I have never been so attracted to a "teacher" before. I don't know how you feel about that title, but that is very much how I feel about you. You are my YT guru/teacher/mentor/guide. You are wise and experienced, but humble and relatable. You are still on the journey, and that is inspiring. You simultaneously have and haven't arrived. I love that.

I do believe I know that I am a witch. I love to learn from you and from books. I am so glad that you put this video out there as I have just written down notes in my journal. I read all sorts of books and I also read for the mind to keep it going. To learn for me is fun. It something I really enjoy. At the moment I am reading Scarlett written by Alexandra Ripley. This book is the second version for Gone with the Wind. I did see the movie and I am looking for book. I am thinking I might have to get it online. Stay safe and Blessed be.

Honestly I needed to know that this stuff was valid. I come from a family which raised me to ignore all these things because they’re extremely anti-spiritual, and I can’t possibly estimate how many times I’ve wanted to appreciate something for which they’d call me “brainwashed.” They firmly believe that science has completely replaced spirituality and it’s just… sad. It’s really difficult to get away from that, but if I want to life a full life I’m going to have to. Thanks for the reassurance.

I love tinctures, herbs wild herbs wild plants I love to study them and create different things with them I love flowers and trees but I pray every day to God and thank him for all of those things so maybe we are all a little good witch at heart because we love nature

Girl, you are rockin' that fedora..."those who know they're a witch, and those who don't know but are..." I've been wrestling with that one for awhile. I have a page in my grimoire, witches I know...there are many. When I started the list, they were a few people close to me, that definitely were and mostly said they were. But then, there are the people who are supernaturally attractive (separate from just looks, you know what I mean) or magically able to make things happen (my husband for instance is weirdly able to fix things just by being in the room) and the quiet ones, who cause things to change, without any effort whatsoever. They are catalysts that come out of nowhere...yeah, they just are.

I have always liked collecting bones and feathers, since the age of five really, and always wanted to be barefooted, inside and in the backyard. It was a battle for my mother to make me wear socks😅😂. This really helped me feel like I am not the only one out there! ❤ What age did you guys have your first witch signs in? I would like to know. I have just recently started to really learn witchcraft many years later.

I have been Autistic with aspergers all my life and always been put into the wierd box as a result. I am very much on a soul journey of discovery about myself, I knew things about the future when I was young and used to tell people some possible scenarios of future paths and events, people used to call me crazy, never did fit in even in the autistic community. I feel I have discovered my own truth and that there is nothing wrong with me, it's 'society' which expects everyone to fit into a box, and that I am an immortal soul having a human experience. I know I can manipulate and control my own reality, and can use thoughts and emotions to respond in a positive or negative way to any given situation. I also communicate by telepathy with animals, and with the energies around me. So to conclude this long essay, I am a witch..I am 36 backwards...lol

Before and after a new moon a little kingfisher arrives in my garden. I live in out back Qld so they aren't real common here. He drops in every month and twice during a full moon.

@@AvalonCameron i live in on the indigenous lands of Barahmi who has the kingfisher as her totem. I have seen him in my meditations too, but barahmi was presented to me on my last trip to Brisbane and it resonated with me.so deeply. I am not indigenous but she is amazing

So, ok, I'd like to share something, it's been 2 months (i guess), I kinda took a break from my witchy self, and u know, I knew that my spirit guide was giving me signs to get back to practice, I mean i am just a baby witch and I gues he wants me to keep learning, so, suddenly on day I kept seeing this yellow colour everywhere, I had no idea what it meant but now through video, I got to know that probably it was a sign, telling me to come back to practice, to back to the witchcraft world. I really really appriciate u to make this video, it was quite relatable, lots of love to u.

Since I was as young as I can remember...if someone saw or met me the first time they get this...like I just electrocuted them look. Or like a woah! I get a lot of do I know you. I always felt like I was a light in a dark room with my family too...I was the only one my grandmother loved & grandfather...a different love than everyone else. Used to piss my fam off...they would say it. Lotta weirdos got a hold of me growing up...I realize why now i think through my own research. I got a little shocked looked from a psychic at a well known little shop here. She asked for my hand & her head shot up & she & she said “u know you’re a healer right?”...then she kept saying “wow”...everytime my cards have been read I get “I’ve never seen this”...or this is weird”...My thing is how do I know? When someone tells me about a past life... how do I know it’s actually true? I’ve never had an Aha! Moment...

When it comes to past lives, it's a feeling. A deep feeling of not just connection but also recognition. It's like, one moment things a foggy and the next, the haze begins to clear. It's not always a significant experience, in fact, most of the times it's quite subtle. That's how you know.

All of these…I’ve always known that I am a witch. I was so caught up in the main stream Christian dogma that I was terrified to say those words. I am remembering something Jesus said (para phrase) the path to righteousness is narrow and few will find it…and he spoke of the path of destruction…it is wide. We only need to look around to see these words are true. Hunger war destruction of our beautiful planet….many don’t care and then there are people like us…few. Much love to all of you. Hmmm. Not all ‘witches’ - and I loathe that term - have all these attributes. It is also a state which will find you if you don’t deny it. You rarely need to hunt for your calling. True craft is not multi - disciplined.
