Request/Video Ideas: Spring layering! (I always end up looking bulky or putting things together that don’t mesh well. Also, spring/summer appropriate office wear/business casual. It’s always hard for me to find warm-weather modest pieces that work for the office. ♥️

we used to make scarf tops in the 1960 s. basically any piece of fabrisc cut into a triangle with one tip folded over and sew to weave a metal joker necklace through it and ,then tie the two other tips behind yr back. it was worn with bell bottom jeans or cut off jean shorts.

I was getting to a point where I was getting lazy with dressing myself, I knew for a long time I had a short torso and I was giving up or dressing myself because I didn't know what was wrong and what to do. One of my favorite summer top shapes is a wrap top because they aren't meant to be tucked and show off my waist. I've learned where they need to hit to be the most flattering on my 5'6" frame - about 20-22", so I typically have to look at the petite offerings. But 90% of the time I still have to wear a cami or bandeau so I don't have too much cleavage showing. Banana Republic has several cute wrap tops right now. I like that you gave offerings for vertical and horizontal lines. I have a short neck and am X shaped, so I steer clear of crew neck T's and most halter necks, but maybe I need to give them another try.

Here is my problem, I am a bodybuilder. I have so much time building these awesome legs and butt but now since my hips are higher than normal, it makes my waist look bulky, I am at a loss for how to dress myself now. I look so bulky in regular clothes.

When I worked out a lot, I got so annoyed how tight tops and jackets would be in odd places like elbows, back, and armpits. And I barely had any muscles! Clothing makers don’t think women have any muscles. It’s so frustrating. The issues went away once I stopped exercising a lot (which isn’t my recommendation lol)

Thanks so much for these videos. I am in my fifties and am 5 10 with a short torso and a lot of leg. When I was young it was a gift (remember I was a 20 something in the 80s and 90s, which were all about big top over long leg - especially the 80s), but as I get older my body has become somewhat thicker and less easy to style. I do not mean I mean I have have gotten fatter, just that when anyone gets older, your body weight placement changes. These videos have been a godsend because although I mostly wear classic options (job requirement, sorry) I really enjoy ways to wear trends as well. Thanks so much and keep making videos!

Hi, I just found your channel and love it! I am built like you and for so long felt inferior when I wore certain things and didn't realize I was creating a shorter torso, etc. I really find the biggest problem in what is online right now re mid-rise shorts and jeans. High-rise seems to have taken over. What shorts are you wearing in the try on portions? They are light blue and I'd appreciate the info. If I have any ideas for future videos I'll comment on whatever one I watch of yours - I'm going through whatever you have so far. Thanks

I'd love the bra video. I notice you have small band, large cup, as do I: 34DD. I have no idea if it goes along w/ the short torso or not. It's hard to find casual styles that fit because if they work for the girls, the band is too big. If the band is nice and snug, the cups runneth over!

You can certainly try! Being a bit chestier and having non-petite shoulders has always been my biggest complaint with petite tops on me. I did recently order a petite maxi dress so we’ll see how that goes!

Regarding bras, I noticed recently and didn't know that they existed, 'stick on boobs.' which, apparently, are an alternative to strapless bras. I wondered if, firstly, whether you have one and if so, what do you think of them? I would like to know if they are any good as some people swear by them. 😀
