I had no idea Jonah Hill was 23 when they made this, I thought he was a teen. In fact, I never really thought of it at all but he did a good job. He was right, they were being idiots because he fit that part perfectly. Can't imagine the movie without him.

I saw superbad the year it came out, LOVED IT. Bought the two disc special edition when it was released. I watched it once or twice a year after. 2015 rolls around, i was like, i have not watched superbad in FOREVER. I watched it 4 times in 2015.....(its October) and i can still quote this movie and remember it nearly scene by scene. LOVE this movie! Great video!

My favourite fact is that the entire party scene was based on several real parties from Seth and Evan's younger days, but some things were so over the top that they had to write it out because no one would believe it. Ie. the party with period blood girl is based on a real party that was held by a gay couple; a body builder and a midget, and they owned a pig that was running around. Or at least that's what they said in the commentary. I don't know if you can trust DVD Commentaries anymore, ever since I found out that the Dodgeball one was fake!

Another weird fact: The dude who touched the period blood on Jonah's pants was "Chuck The Truck" in the movie FOOT FIST WAY with Danny McBride (which is what, I think, got them on everyone's radar screen).

I know it's several years... but love the Channel bringing up old films... Be it 5 years or 20 years.

Anyone who was a fan of the early killed show Carnivale on HBO knew who Carla was before Superbad. To this day I still want at least a final season of that show.

I think this is the only Things You Didn't Know video where I actually knew all of the things. I used to be obsessed with this movie and often listened to the DVD commentary where they talked about all this stuff. I guess I know where Cinefix gets the bulk of their facts now.
