Brilliant ideas, my bathrooms always look the same but in different colours. Definitely be trying these ideas, now if you can just help with the rest of my building/decoration that would be great!
A fireplace in a bathroom with a jacuzzi tub is awesome in real life, I got to experience that at a business retreat years ago it was seriously luxurious!
First, merry Christmas Second my bathroom habits ( cause that isn't weird) 1. I use platforms to sink an open shower space to give it an edge and keep the water where it should be. 2. Incense in bathroom and have them smell it before hoping in for a soak 3. Laundry bath combos if you love chaos and constant fights over using the space

I also do my built-in bath tubs but using walls and adding a little half-wall at the front (it’s still usable!) and putting a huge window next to the tub, feels so luxurious and cozy
These are really cool bathroom ideas! I especially love the idea of having spa treatment items and adding ambience to the bathroom. I'll have to try some of these next time I build a fancy house. ❤️
I like using curtains that are floating instead of attached to a wall to simulate shower/bath curtains. They can be a bit tricky to place, but they look very realistic and sims walk right through them so they don't cause any issues

There are some really good ideas in there! I usually just make a 2 by 3 tile room, stick in a toilet, sink and shower-tub-combo and call it a day (they don't even get toilet paper usually haha)
Bathrooms are actually some of my favorite rooms to make! My issue is... building small bathrooms. It's a lot easier to build a nice bathroom when you have all the space in the world for candles, plants, and a super aesthetic bathing area, but it can be hard to get smaller, realistic bathrooms to look good.

In large family houses I like placing the shower/bath in areas that count like a separate room as well as putting the toilet in it's own room, that way it is super functional. For example, I found putting tubs on platforms allows tubs to be used without privacy, I typically replace the wall with a frieze after putting curtains up to emulate privacy. Also, I like using sliding doors with those stand alone shower heads, you can make a little two tile room into a functional stand up shower with a sliding door. You might need bb.moveobjects on for that one, but as long as the sliding door is on the tile not taken up by the shower it should work.
Another tip for the perfect walk in shower: see at 1:17 Instead of putting a door there, just "ctrl+shift+c" then "bb.moveobjects" and delete the walls, you end up with freestanding windows that look just like glass panels. Don't forget to leave at least 1 tile space for your sim to walk into and voila :D

In busy homes I like to put toilet and shower/ tub in separate rooms in side a large room with sink so they stop walking in on each other and do if something breaks you can fix it without the space being unusable. They can usually be two tile rooms or similarly small. It does take more space but it s s great alternative to having lots of bathrooms
I always use little shower walls, especially in apartments. Just makes it look a little more fancy and like you're in an apartment worthy of that crappy rent...

to those of you without snowy escape or university, you can still make nice looking custom showers! it just takes a liiiitle more work. take a downward facing wall sconce and place it so that it overlaps the showerhead, then size down the shower. you can use a sized down storm drain from debug as a shower drain. or you don't have to size it down if you like the look of the bigger drain ofc, or you could just not use it at all. if you have access to the T.O.O.L. mod, you can size down the shower to be as small as you can while still being able to click on it, and then you can pretty much be done. if you don't have access to T.O.O.L. or just don't want to have to learn how to use it, size down the shower as much as possible and hide it in a debug object or wall decoration. i personally suggest a debug plant, since plants in the shower is a vibe and you can add more plants around it to fill out the space a bit. important note, DO NOT move the shower into the object. you have to keep the shower in place or the animations will be off or it might not be functional at all. move the object to cover the shower instead. you also meed to make sure enough of the shower is poking out of the o ject that you can select it. hope this is useful to anyone!
Could you create a video based on a photo studio. Like the whole pairing models, and having an area sims can go to take photos sounds perfect got creative sims.
