I was Violet in a production a few years ago, my first musical, and it was an absolute blast! One of the few movie to stage shows with really awesome music! I love this opening so much!
My school is doing 9 to 5 for a musical next school year. I kinda hope I get Doralee, but I kind of want to be Judy because I absolutely loved the song “Dance O’ Death”
Hopeful Stars i played Judy in my school production. I'm kinda frustrated at dance o death because they cut out "ayayayayayayay" and the verse after it
I saw this musical performed at this one college near me, and it was AMAZING! It was well done and now I just want to listen to the soundtrack nonstop! (Before today I hadn’t heard it yet)
(Judy is given spotlight she looks around nervously) JUDY: dreams and plans are in the making success is out there for the taking...I wish it was as simple as it sounds I swear to you I'm going to do it grit my teeth and I'll get through it It's hard to see the upside when you're down...working nine to five become necessary when my husband, Dick (spotlight immediately points out the Dick in the crowd and ensemble screams his name at the top of their lungs I feel bad for this poor loser) ENSEMBLE: DICK!!!
This will be my alarm for college~ I'm playing the candy striper and I'm also in the ensemble :) i just saw this play like 4 hours ago! AMAZ-ZA-ZA-ZING!!!
I desperately want to do this number with my theater troupe for our performances this December. It’s so peppy and fun I can guarantee it’ll be soooooo fun
Love these songs sooo much. Was in a musical for theater arts. I LOVED it soooo much and wish I could still do shows with them. Our show turned out amazing and now I'm a masqued crafter .

I'm in this at a local playhouse! I'm playing Joe. We had our first rehearsal tonight and all we did was learn this and "Around Here." My voice is so hoarse! haha
