I have what looks like a dogman on my property. Actually a family of sasquatch frequent my property and have for years. I was getting ready to cut down some big foot structures because they kept blocking my path. When I got started, the one that looked like a dog man was moving through the brush and I tried recording him. And you could see where he looks like hes melting into the structure, but he just blends in so well. I have watched him run on occasion. And he looks like he swims because hes blocking his face and breaking branches. But in the video I try following him. You can hear his footsteps and see him move into the brush. Most of the time I leave but this time I pushed it. He has tried to ambush me and come up from the side.
I do have a really creepy story that happened to me while on a solo hike on Mt. Madonna. I should either write it down and submit it or call in and get interviewed.
Dear Darkness family, Thank you for your dedication to great narrating! My husband is a sound engineer, and knows how hard it is to produce a quality product, and you do every time! Also, your voice was the only thing that calmed down our rescued aussie shepherd the first night and helped her relax. She was frail then, but has had a great time traveling with us. She is very old now, about 13 or 14 years old, and we are facing letting her go. We've been giving her laser treatments for arthritis and pain medication, but her hearing is gone and her back legs are tired. I am playing your videos every night, it still let's her relax and feel safe. I can never thank you enough, even if you never saw her, you helped rescue her, and she learned that voices were not always angry and cruel, that she could be safe and loved. Thank you thank you!
@@AdultHumanXX We had so many happy times, and she passed away peacefully a couple of weeks after my post. She was tired and I plan to rescue as soon as I can stop crying and get my self together. Even though I KNOW their lives are shorter than ours, an eternity isn't long enough! One thing that really comforts me is all the hospice stories I've seen where the person dying sees their pets as well. I look forward to hopefully seeing all my furry family some day..bless your kind words!
@@christineparis5607 sending lots of love your way. I’m glad her passing over was peaceful and she was with the one who loved her most. I lost my nearly 20 year old cat, Buddy, on Christmas last year, so I really empathize with you. When you’re ready, I’m sure your sweet girl will be looking down on you happy to see you helping another animal in need by giving them a life as good as hers was. I know some people can feel guilt after adopting another pet- like they’re replacing the one they’ve lost- but I like to think it’s a beautiful way to honour their memory. You’ll see all your beloved fur babies again someday. And it will be such a happy reunion. In the meantime, I hope her memories become a blessing- and can bring happy tears instead of sad ones someday soon 🩶
The dogman and fisherman story was awesome and curious that the dogman didn't do anything but get a free meal, and trolled the fisherman. That said that one stands out over your usual stories.
I feel like out of all the the creatures in the forest. The dog man is the most docile. Out of all the stories they don’t attack unless you attack it I hear
The person saying that their friend 3.5 hours away was "close" got me. I'm like yeah maybe 3.5 minutes away is close, but 3.5 hours? Nah. 😂 Also the person sitting against the tree waiting for their friends to come back made me think of the frog and toad story "shivers"... It was the "old dark frog" 😅
@@Passions5555 yep, it's an old children's book series. There's a story called "shivers" in which one of the characters encounters "the old dark frog" while sitting against a tree in the dark woods waiting for their parents to return.
I came looking for this comment, like i’ve driven an hour for friends before and thats FAR for me but 2.5 to 3 hours being close????? Thats a road trip bro
@@ranjira7893 well not the latter two. But the shambling gait, the skinniness and deathly look are, and I'm pretty sure the sharp teeth are too actually since they'll basically be so hungry and desperate that they'll eat things they shouldn't and chip their teeth into jagged shards.
I could imagine that rasped sounds could certainly sound like human speech if you’re scared enough, people will hear voices in straight up static or the wind afterall Also deer certainly can stand up on two legs for a good bit, and the fact that it dropped back down on all fours to run away makes me think fear warped some of the way the person remembered things but that it was just a sick deer
I agree. Too bad there was no raptor in any of the stories, although I guess that would've been a lot less believable, especially if taken place in the US. Hard to convince anyone of that ever happening haha.
@@Khornedevotee Yeap too bad there was no raptor in the stories and that’s totally true, although Darkness has a few dinosaur stories in his older videos that were awesome😁
@ashleydavid8997 ah dogmen are harmless and unlike dogs don't work so well with govemenet agencies now if you want cryptids good at scaring fools you want sasquatches Signed an English sasquatch :p
I'm shocked by just how many people have encounters with the same kind of wolf-like creatures and the uncanny quietness of the forest. Really makes you wonder what's out there that hasn't been documented yet.
Thank you for the new upload I know it's probably not easy with just having a newborn. Hopefully, the delivery went well! Your videos are my favorite among all the cryptid and horror stories on RU-vid! So thanks again !❤
Hey darkness I jue5 seen that this is the 3000th video I've liked on youtube and a big chuck are your videos so was sweet that this became the 3000th liked video. I love the chanel man.
Dogmans just reminding him he's supposed to pay The fish Tax that's all guy didn't need to leave for good just remember the first fish goes to the dogman
First story is easily explainable. It was a Buck with chronic wasting disease. Deer sometimes stand up on their hind legs when threatened, but also lose a lot of their natural fear with CWD. It makes them look and walk like zombies.
Hey darkness I’ve been listening to you for years (I think four) on Spotify/I think Amazon or whatever the Alexa uses/ and RU-vid. Your narrations have gotten me through some hard times I really appreciate your content so thank you.
Hey darkness I'm a fan of your series and I think this is the first time I've responded to you I just wanted you to know I love these supposedly true stories you tell and I definitely believe the Redwood Bureau would make a wonderful manga or comic series.👍👍👍
YOU WISH YOU WERE FROM WOODS LET ALONE THE DEEP WOODS ?? I DROVE 2 HOURS TO THE MCDONALDS ?; THATS IN THE MIDDLE OF NO WHERE?? TO GET CELL SERVICE ? TO MSKE THIS COMMENT??#!$
So the first guy in very dim lighting had a chance to go full on robinhood and not only quickly fire arrows at a creature that was quickly running away, but land every shot, despite the nerves such a situation would no doubt bring. Logic.
They've only found one in the last few years. But we do have sasquatch and I have recorded them. One of them looks like a dog man. He melts in with the environment.
@@cameroncooper9501 interesting. I'm from Minnesota, we have thousands of bears and between 7,000 and 10,000 wolves. Not really that weird to me, just seems weird to imagine a place where those animals aren't in the woods.
@wintersking4290 they killed off the black bear here a long time ago, that one was just a straggler from way up in North Michigan must have got lost. That or it was an exotic pet that got loose
The dogman story was cool. This is the second dog man story I heard. The last one was thankful for the human that didnt hurt him. The next day he transformed into a native american man and payed for the guys gas. The man never saw him again
The Dogman and the fish story actually creeped me out. Waiting for "The Catch"....then wading across to take it. Thank goodness I live in a North of England 🏴 City . I never want to see anything like that. 😱
I so love the artwork every time, it is just more beautiful & mysterious. Gorgeous, dark & lush. Such Superb artistry WHO DOES IT ?? ANYBODY Know?? I AM desiring to see much more, of their incredible art .
I been listening to your channel for a good year now very interesting I had 2 dogman encounters is why im interested 🐺 thx man 🤘 had one encounter in Pennsylvania back around 2003 and one in Cape Cod Massachusetts Christmas eve around 2005
