That onside kick broke UCLA's back. It felt like they were going to go back and forth and each score each time they had it, and that onside kick just created a gap
@@marcusking332 That was played at Rice-Eccles Field in Utah. The second game was in Vegas. Oregon had the 3rd longest Home winning streak in the nation.
I got into an argument with the UCLA person in the RU-vid comments when I said don't sleep on Oregon because he was already saying UCLA versus USC in the Pac-12 title game wrong wrong I know The Season's not over yet but I will say it again do not sleep on Oregon
If the onside kick was never kicked, would’ve been a slightly different/closer game. Both defenses were paper, but Oregon showed up a bit more in the RZ. 2 punts between the 2 teams
The real difference is Field Goals vs Touchdowns. Oregon was getting TD’s while UCLA was kicking FG’s. That’s the real difference. Oregon had the ball at the 20 yard line with several minutes left. They decided to run out the clock when they could’ve scored another touchdown. UCLA forced Oregon to point once the entire game.
Tough three game stretch for UCLA: Washington, Utah, Oregon. Two out of three ain't bad. There are still no gimme games left on the schedule. Even the "bad" teams in the Pac 12 this year are pretty good.
What a disappointing top ten matchup. Uclas defense was giving up what seemed like 10+ yards every other play. The score may not suggest it, but this game was a complete blowout by Oregon.
Now I see why Oregon has been so good since UGA. I heard a crazy stat that Nix has only been hit 3 times this year, in 7 freaking games, that's because of this ridiculous OL. No wonder he looks so great, the kid rarely has to deal with pressure, and looking at the Pac this year, they have absolutely zero teams that will have any semblance of a DL to do anything. This reminds me of the Pac 10-12 years ago when it was more fun to watch. More offense almost nobody had defense. Oregon won't really be challenged until they play in the playoffs vs somebody like UGA again, or Ohio St.
UCLA offensive coordinator is clueless I Tell u...why have a no.22 running like that and don't use him after the first/2nd quaters...the game would have been close...but quality win by the ducks though...
Come on now . . . DTR means "deep tendon reflex" in medicine . . . it is a neutral acronym. Don't be a knucklehead. Btw, I'm an Oregon fan (and a doctor).
Hey where are those trash talking UCLA fans? Not so hot now that you've just been humbled is it? I kept telling people that UCLA wasn't going to win but nooooo apparently UCLA is playoff contenders
They were talking crap about Oregon's pink uniforms they had no clue that Oregon wore those because it's cancer awareness month also Oregon in the last minute could of ran the score up in the last minute since they had the ball inside of the UCLA 10 and really rubbed it into their faces but they spiked the ball and ran the clock out.
Relax Oregon Ducks. UcLa ( chip kelly football) always makes opposing qb's look like hiesman contenders. His defense is clueless. Has been for years. Why do you think there are tarps at the Rose Bowl?
FIRE CHIP! He’s had more then enough years to put together a good team. Finally it looked like he may have done it, and in his first important game he loses it! Last year they lost to a state school. These are not the mark of good or championship teams. It is too predictable UCLA football where they start out good, and then fall apart. And this is with his veteran 5 year QB I believe? What happens next year with a less exp. QB? Fire Chip if you want us to believe UCLA football matters!
Love the passion, but who will they hire that will do better? Or who will take the UCLA job that is better than Chip? Honestly they were a top 10 team headed into that game having already beaten Utah (the reigning PAC-12 champ). I mean at least you’re not shy about your high expectations, but they may be unrealistic expectations.
@@TheDoorBellevue Honestly you’re the typical UCLA fan I encountered over the years! No keep what we have and settle for second place! Chip had high expectations and has not delivered. He looked like he finally had a good team after how many years, and a 5th year QB. Well he still hasn’t delivered and typically UCLA in a big game doesn’t show up. We don’t need more of this cautious keep what we have cause we might get a worst guy as head coach. It’s the AD’s job to find the right person, and not screw the program like Guerro!
@@dr.stephenflorezdc6358 I’m actually an Oregon fan. You may be right. I mean look how things changed when Oregon “Lost” Mario Cristobal. There are great coaches out there. Rarely do teams go and find one, since it is common place to pick off the coaching carousel. Love your passion though!
Trying to incorporate pink in the uniform for Breast Awareness Month is really difficult to do. Given that fact, I thought they looked pretty damn good considering.
You're obviously oblivious to the issue of fighting and surviving cancer . . . Btw, I thought the unis looked great. Didn't seem to hinder the Ducks' performance.
I don't think Oregon is the same team now as they were in Game 1 . . . in case you hadn't noticed. Georgia had the Ducks in a perfect storm . . . new coaches, new offense, new defensive scheme, playing the reigning national champ in Atlanta ("neutral site" . . . yeah, sure) who also faces the same defense every day . . . with better players. And pretty much every Duck fan that I know had no "delusions" this year that we were going to the "natty" . . . as you falsely claim.
I don't think any pac 12 fans thought they had a shot at the natty lol typical sec fan talking shit to other conferences because he knows his team is dogshit
