heh i was thinking the same thing... But maybe he did not want to mislead us with a more accurate photo if he didn't have an actual one of the wreak. He thought maybe by making it obvious we would understand that he is just showing us wreaks. This channel still seems pretty awkward but none the less informative, pirates are cool!

Anyone who spends any tie at all around things nautical would know that these are ships and not boats. Boats are carried by ships to go ashore in when the ship is at anchor. The only exception to this rule are civilian pleasure craft and submarines.

Museums and Maritime museums have a lot of these artifacts. Pretty impressive to see them & read the history. I'm not sure about any others, but the one maritime museum in Outer Banks, NC shows them restoring items they find.

I take my five year old son to the beach and a local river.While he is distracted I dig a hole in the sand an throw some coins in.Then l cover it up.I go back to the boy and say " I got a feeling that some pirates have been here.They might have buried some treasure here,shall we have a dig around see if we can find any " course when we eventually dig in the right place he loves it.Pirate treasure.Mind you I panicked on one occasion because I couldn't find the place were I buried it.Got there eventually tho.
That is awesome of you to do that for your son! I'm sure he'll look back on fond memories or seeing pictures (if any taken). We used to buy the fake coins from one of the pirate shops and do the same for our son, now at 10, he still remembers. Of course now he wants a metal detector lol And how was this nonsense? You must not have children to understand. Or had a childhood where your parents did something like this to see you squeal with delight. A baby's laughter and seeing them "find things" is precious.
