TiaCuppe I wont imagine how it has to be for a woman to get groped by a f*ckinh pervert on the train.. that is just scary! So yeah, I think that it is good from her talking about that, too!
@@nightggg Not everyone is happy in their birth country. Why do you think so many people immigrated to the USA in the past? Also, why don't you let people live their lives?
I just wanted to tell you how great it is of you to put a time stamp for those who can't listen to things like that due to ptsd and other issues. That was really thoughtful on your part.
It's also funny that you say people will steal umbrellas, because I heard in a couple other videos, people have said their purse or backpack never gets stolen when they leave it lying around... So they will steal umbrellas but not a purse?! Haha
I don't know about the exact situation at stores and such. But when I lived in our student dorm in Nagoya it was just that most of us had umbrellas that looked really similar.
I have been in the U.S for almost 8 years, never visiting my home country even once. I plan to move back to Asia after my education here..wish me luck!
these were actually really useful tips that can be applied to ALL of japan and not just tokyo. most youtubuers make these kinds of videos but theyre always only about tokyo so people come to live here and struggle because not everywhere is like the city. I really think this is a great video and I would recommend it to anyone coming to live here tbh
@@yuh309 I don't think so, I have adhd and become unfocused/get bored easily, so the change of settings really helps me, cause there's new things to see and all. I'm sure it's the same for other people too! 😊
I definitely want to go back and live in Japan again. I have the added benefit that I did it once before in Jr. Highschool...and I know for a fact I do like living there. Maybe it is easier to make friends when you are a kid in school though. I remember that my class got really excited when I came as an exchange student and I stayed an extra year because it was offered to me and I was having so much fun I didn't want to leave! I even got to participate in student council activities. So if you are in school definitely go.
The you have to love Japan really also applies to moving to other places. I moved to the U.S. so I understand all the hard effort you have to put into learning a new language and adapting to a different environment. If you feel eh about it, its truly not worth it when you are already used to another place. Moving to other countries is extremely hard, especially when cultures and languages are very different. Human beings can vary a lot surprisingly depending on the culture as a whole.
I’m really interested in moving to Japan when I’m older. The culture is so interesting! I’m really into anime and cosplay so you could see why I would want to live there. Haha I’m already starting to learn Japanese. Whenever I got my haircut, the hairdresser even asked me if I wanted it because I was into anime. How did she know?!
I want to move there too it's so beautiful and the culture is so interesting and anime oh yes I am just mad for anime and cosplay I even do cosplays I will surely move to Japan when I will be older ≧ω≦
OMG! we need to become friends rn! im also rlly interested in going to japan when im older! i loveee anime!! and im also staring to learn japanese! pls message me if u wanna be friends :3
Did you know that going out in cosplay is illegal in Japan? And anime and basically the "kawaii culture" (?) is not that popular there or maybe not as popular as you think.. Japan is not that dream anime world you are thinking about...
I am watching this because I am moving to Japan to study in Tokyo Metropolitan kokusai high school Omgggg ohh I am so excited and can't wait to go there
ohh so Hirokasu speaks Portuguese! what a multilingual family you will have!!! and when it comes to take the decision to live in japan, what a about machismo? I've been there twice and I witnessed a couple of situations in public transport where girls where denigrated and no body did nothing... did you see these situations?
I agree with you, I’ve moved to South Korea (been here for 2 years) and I didn’t realise all of these things now I’m much more comfortable and I get upset even leaving to see my family in England for 1 month
Thank you for this video!! I want to study in Japan for one semester as an Exchange Student, so this was really helpful, especially that you recommended a bank and talked about data 😊💕
I always wanted to live in Japan ( I live in Texas now ) and my friends , he is japanese , and he told me that it is amazing and watching your videos on japan make me wanna move to Japan even more!
Always thanks for your useful videos ma’am. I want to teach English so I’m looking for students . I would love to get some tips about finding students . 🙏 thanks again.
So, I moved to Japan when I was 4. I still can't speak Japanese (IM WORKING ON IT AND TAKING CLASSES THOUGH!) but I do have some Japanese friends in my neighborhood. They all go to a different school than I do though. The funny thing? We've been friends for nearly 5 years and haven't said a single word to each other with the exception of the occasional phrase or word.
I haven't been to Japan but I'm planning to. I've been to Korea and I noticed that your tips are good for there too. I didn't get groped in the subway but I got kissed in a subway station against my will by a Korean who boasted about it to his friends shortly after. I heard it's sadly a thing that occurs a lot more than I had thought. Except for that incident I felt very safe in Seoul, even safer than back home. But we should be careful wherever we go. And don't shy away from calling the person out.
U r a great you tuber . I rely like the way you interact with things. Plz continue to do u beast. Love u 😘😘 I hope u stay well n a lot of blessings 4 u !!!
You can find the sim cards in the Bic Camera shops. I personally bought mine in Bic Camera, the one close to Ikebukuro station and in Shibuya close to 109
Sometimes negative comments can get overwhelming but simple genuinely nice comments like this really make me wanna keep creating and keep me excited about making videos so thank you 💓
みかんMikan I can’t even say how happy I am that you replied and that my simple comment make you at least a bit happy^^ I hope you will continue making these videos, because they’re really fun and I really enjoy them. I also hope that you will receive not so many bad comments ~~
4:01 OMG Hiro's dad is braziliannn this is so nice!!! I'm also Brazilian n i currently live here even though I'm going to live and study in Japan next year ;)
I think you're like the daughter of a slip between Harry Potter and Hermione Granger. It is a compliment without a doubt, you can imagine how many magical powers a sweet girl like you has?✌❤
I'm sure I'll move to Japan when I'm old enough. It's been my dream since I was 7 and I'm not giving it up! I'm already saving money even if I'm not old enough to work.
Something helpful to practice keeping your camera steady; around the house move around holding a full glass of water. Shaky cam is really the only negative from this video I feel.
Just a note that Shinsei Bank won't work for everyone now, as they changed their policy. As with most other banks in Japan, they now require proof of six months of residency _or_ some form of indication (only through a full-time employer) that you will be in Japan for at least a year (in case you do not meet the six-months criteria). This works for people who are coming to Japan for full-time work, but it will not work for people on WHV, student visa, etc. Also, this excludes residents on a spouse visa or other people who are here for special reasons (none of the residency requirements apply), so best to check Shinsei's site for those specific cases.
this is great! i go to a college but there isnnt many clubs i can join for making friends but there will be more after christmas so hopefully there will be some i can join easily and have fun :) thank you for this
Okay so I grew up in Japan, and we moved to the U.S a few years back. We’re moving out of the country again and from my knowledge we’re either going back to Japan or to Germany
Can u also give us tips about the weather in Japan or when if u get sick? (I am a VERY sickly person who has always wanted to go to Japan ) btw LOVE U SO MUUCCH 💖💖💕
Love this video! Very informative. I do have one question though based on Japan being heavy on bachelors degrees. I'm assuimg from watching your other videos that you don't have one. Are you working towards one though or what? I really want to move there one day but only have a college diploma (which isn't a degree) so yea don't know if I should try my luck or come up with a plan of working towards a degree (which is scary for me since I'm already 26yrs old 🙈)
Depending on where you're from, you can do a Working holiday Visa which allows you to come here without a degree, you have 1 year to enjoy Japan work a little, which is what I am currently doing! 😊
Yaaaay! For years of watching J-Vlogers this video was probably the most practical in terms of living tips. Also finally I love to see such fine UK female J-Vloger! I don't know if it's the same for other countries but if you bring electrical appliances from the UK such as hair straightener it won't work as Japan has lower electricity frequency. I wish I knew that as I would have just bought a travel straightener at Donky the first day, rather than trying different plugs and looking scruffy! :P
