I did my European river cruising over 30 years ago, and they were affordable for a schoolteacher. The ships were smaller and they focused more on the tours at places we stopped - and they even offered single cabins! Now the ships are larger and more elegant, there are more onboard activities, and they have become very expensive. I could not afford today's river cruising, and even if I could, I'm not sure I would like the changes.
Hi Bob, Thank you for sharing this comment. It inspired my next video that was posted today. Granted, the cost of river cruises today are not the same as they were 30 years ago. However, they still focused on the tours at the different ports you stop at and there are a number of river cruise lines that offer single cabins. I share these options in the new video: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-xPoYc-d66pA.html Let me know what your thoughts are on the latest video. Thank you.
Hi Donna, European river cruises are not very accessible for someone who uses an electric power chair. However American River Cruises like on the Mississippi, the Pacific Northwest, as well as on the Great Lakes are accessible. I hope that was helpful. Let me know if you have any further questions.
