@@BigBoss1228 Yeah really. One would think that everybody laughs because it's a big joke. But reading some of these comments it really makes you wonder
Shawn Michaels turning up on this list for his diva antics should surprise no one. That guy was a absolute, 100% jackass both in the ring and backstage.
Thankfully he found God and started changing his repulsive behavior. Which is awesome! Especially when you consider Michaels lucky (or even better: blessed) that Vader didn't knocked the soul out of Michaels' body; neither when he tried to fight Mike Tyson of all people.
At least the Rock was more professional about it and realized it wasn’t anything worth making enemies over within a span of minutes and cooled off. I wonder if HBK ever made nice to Leon White after he got clean?
in this video: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-Z3QPOaxL-8c.html at 5:56 you can actually see Shawn and Vader talking to each other at an autograph signing. Vader also said he doesn’t blame Shawn for everything that went down, im sure they made amends at some point, especially since Vader made a few appearances in WWE after that incident.
Yep. Backstage events of the Montreal Screwjob proved that. Apparently he cowered away in his corner against Bret even with his co-conspirator Vince McMahon in the room. Its a recurring theme (not always, but mostly) in life. Those who act like they're hot sh*t all the time are the ones who shrink the farthest when the time comes to putting your life on the line.
@@saveThe90s88 It means Michaels used to be a little b**ch who only acted out because he knew Vince had his back. But when s**t hit the fan in Montreal and Brett wanted to get physical in the locker room even against Vince, Michaels cowered in the corner trying his hardest to stay out of the firing line.
@Daniel Olortegui Michaels was an entitled Diva during that run, I'm sure things would've been totally different if Vader hopped to his feet and floored Michaels like he would've done anyone else
That ending was a great one. You guys saved the best for last. I love Kurt informing us especially on what Dwayne said as he looked up at Earl. Classic
I remember watching the Mind Games 1996 main event with Mankind and thought he threw a tantrum when him and Mick rolled around fighting. Turns out him and Mick worked the smart marks with that spot in an incredible match.
"Legit tantrums" most of them was minor frustration with a legitimate reason to be frustrated. I think some one needs to learn the definition of tantrums.
Very strange comment. What does a list of wrestlers throwing tantrums 20+ years ago have to do with Vince McMahon retiring a couple of days ago? (I'm honestly asking)
Very easily, yes. The crazy part is that Michaels is now in charge of NXT. While some will claim Michaels was only a butthole during the 90's and became nicer when he returned during the 2000's, this isn't true since a lot of younger wrestlers from the 2000's like Shane Helms and several others have told stories about how much of a butthole Shawn Michaels was during the 2000's and 2010's. Pretty sure he's the same butthole during the 2020's).
they did make it a plot point in HBK's best ever match (at the very first Hell in a Cell; Michaels attacked a cameraman inside the cell, the cameraman needed kayfabe medical attention, which lead to the 'opening' of the cell doors, after which michaels and undertaker went out and up top; iirc it also removed the padlock on the door, which would later allow Kane's debut to decide the outcome of the match)
The issue with Shawn Michaels was Vince McMahon. I'm sure in his younger days Vince punished HBK. But from his last IC title run until his last match, Vince let him get away with literally ANY AND EVERYTHING. Vince was famous for choosing to punish anyone around HBK when an issue transpired rather then punish the source of the issue - HBK.
In his defense though HBK is quite possibly the best entertainer that has ever graced the business. When your the top dog in any sport you always get away with more than others just how it is.
@@graham5990 saying he’s THE best is a stretch he wasn’t good enough to get main stream attention and movie star roles like the Rock and Hulk Hogan nor does he have a chant (WHAT) that’s lasted decades even after he’s gone now HBK is top 10 imo easily but #1 eehhhhh
@@yelhsanosnhoj6602 I agree to a certain extent, but I was talking purely about his in the ring ability. Very few can do what he did as well as he did it in the ring. Hogan was a joke of a wrestler and an actor he was just a product of the time. The Rock's charisma is unmatched, and Austin was amazing as a character to really kick start the attitude movement.
@@graham5990 I admit, HBK to me is one of the best because he can actually wrestle as seen with his Kurt Angle feud. he can really go with a pro even though he’s not a pro himself. Can’t say that for 99% of the roster. But THE best? Ehhh. I mean I’m not mad at that I can see why you’d say so… And not for nothing as a kid I never heard people harping on about the in ring ability of the Rock and Undertaker Austin so on it was more hyped around the situations like yeah their abilities were definitely noted but nowadays that’s all people talk about…
From what I saw, and I've played it back several times, Saturn did not land on his head. Just like Hogan didn't land on his head against Undertaker, and Randy Orton didn't land on his neck against Mr. Kennedy.
Perry saturn is so underappreciated and i feel like he was old guard that suffered the worst and most extreme results of a changing era while also not getting any of the benefits of the new guard its so sad
I'd say Eddie had a legit reason to be pissed off. The way he fell looked like he tore his knee apart. I wouldn't call that a temper tantrum. The position mysterio was in was much better than falling bad off a 10 ft latter. I'd be furious!
Plus in his defense he couldn’t see his position or know that wasn’t going to happen they didnt inform him. And one sentence outburst isn’t that bad honestly
The WWF in 1996 had like no good babyfaces at the top of the card. Meaning Shawn, who was at least over, could do pretty much anything he wanted and they had to acquiese.
One of the most ironic things is that the botch dive in HBK's match against Taker in WM25 involved a "cameraman". It's a nice call back to how Michaels would treat the camera crew back in the day.
I definitely don't recall enjoying that Eddie Guerrero and Rey Mysterio feud, but I do remember him yelling about Vickie and a bunch of these tantrums in general
I definitely never saw don’t remember Eddie I think that Vince didn’t tell Eddie that Vickie was not going to come out till end of the match Vince McMahon change his mind at last minute probably told Vickie awhile Eddie and Rey was having there match but i think that was a better idea because it was very personal and awesome finish to that custody ladder match at summerslam 2005
HBK to this day better count his lucky STARS Vader didn't squash him like a bug leaving him drooling for the rest of his life. Vader was NOT to be toyed with.
Lance Storm and William Regal had a match on RAW when Storm hit Regal in the nose causing it to bleed. Regal saw it and started whaling on Lance and he was like “Whoa!” as William continued to pound him legitimately.
I've learned there are restrictions when replaying these clips and that some channels talk about the clips without actually showing them. This channel does an outstanding job at recapping clips under these restrictions.
What dafuq... oh sorry, I just saw your picture. My apologies. I thought for a second it was a dude posting that comment. Only males from San Francisco are fans of Shawn Michaels.
Here's the thing about Saturn. He flipped out, after hitting his HEAD! That is something they should have known about even then, that a head injury can cause an instant violent reaction.
I know your comment was done 4 month ago lol but I assume he kicked him in the head because since Vader didn't move, if Shawn didn't think fast he would have landed straight on Vader's head with full force. Those 2 kicks definitely hurt but it could have been way worse.
surely if two guys put on questionably one of the worst main events in PPV history you wouldn't book those two in another main event in an upcoming PPV... I mean... surely
Well, not really.. He was on the top rope.. Not safe at all for anyone involved to do a move from top rope on an unprepared opponent.. Things can go very wrong in a matter of seconds when a spot is botched/forgotten and trying to push it through is just not worth it.. Too much risk.. He did the smart thing by just calling it out altogether
Bingo. There's a reason view was obstructed, cause Vince (or whoever was sitting in for Vince) was prepared to catch it. Cause those belts aren't feathers, and if Brock Lesnar threw one at your unexpecting head, at the very least you are ending up with a couple cuts and a concussion.
@@palpatinerocks3260 Firstly, its Charles Robinson. Not Robinsin. Its not Johnny Sins. Don't say a name that you can't spell. Secondly, Mike is the longest Tenured referee ever. Even before his release due to Budget cuts in April 2020 he was with the company for 31 years having started in 1989. For context he was the context he was with the company longer than Stone Cold Steve Austin, Earl Hebner, Randy Anderson, Triple H, The Rock, Randy Orton, John Cena, Kurt Angle, Brock Lesnar, Rey Mysterio, Big Show, Kane and even The Undertaker. So your points invalid.
Tantrums are actually when people feel ganged up on. A lot of violence that happens, even in society, is people think work environments, neighbors and even strangers are ganging up. It's emotional fatigue. In every instance though, the wrestler likely thinks consciously or subliminally, Vince Mcmahon is orchestrating bullying craft.
Oh Shawn Michaels diva behavior is no surprise,i idolized him growing up before Steve Austin came along.. Michaels is one of the best wrestlers of all time..
Paige would be number one or two, as she has yet to make a comeback, if she ever does. Magnum T.A. was on his way to the NWA title, so he'd be my number one...
It wouldn’t have been a bad thing if Vader had took it too Sean Michaels and put a legit beat down him. He could have found work anywhere else in the world.
What about the infamous Brett Hart tantrum, The Montreal screw job!!! He literally spit in McMahon's face and busted TV's and headsets. How did they leave this one out?
