A 9-year-old boy with autism was found dead in the water behind a Brooklyn department store after he ran off on his own. CBS New York's Lisa Rozner spoke with his mother. Read more: cbsn.ws/45e0Xdo
Special needs kids do love water and they don’t understand it’s dangerous i have one and i am always watching him every min he is 13 and it’s not easy as a mother i have to watch him 14-16 hours depending on when he sleeps you can’t blame mother, I am sure she tried her best. Only special needs mom will understand how hard it is to take care of them.May Allah give sabr to the family it must have been very difficult for them.
The Family is Already Blaming IKEA and No Doubt They Will Sue IKEA. If My Kid had Special Needs I Would Definitely Place a Tracking Device of some Sort on Him/Her.
Yeh I agree but that woman is from Pakistan there is 0 awareness there about Autism and women especially there don’t know how to work technology to a normal level so I highly doubt she knew what a tracking device even is tbh
Such a disgusting comment. It wasn’t like she was on drugs or purposefully neglected him. She has 2 other kids maybe she was distracted with them. The audacity of people like you
@@audioreacts4957 I have 3 kids youngest autistic spoken to many parents who are in a similar situation and a lot of things are different. Compassion and empathy is clearly not your strong point Karen
*THIS IS WHY YOU DON'T BRING CHILDREN OF ANY KIND WHEN RUNNING ERRANDS.* They run away, the get kidnapped... It's also why proper and affordable childcare is a MUST HAVE for every parent to have access to! It's just too dangerous to take kids with you pretty much anywhere, really. It's not even safe for them in schools, at birthday parties, and so on. WE MUST HAVE BETTER CHILDCARE OPTIONS!
Whaat? The Kid Had a Paid Nanny with Him but He Run Away from Her. Your Kids are Your Problem, It’s Not the Responsibility of Society or Government to take Care for Your Children.
@@PHN-2024The boy had autism, don't blame the child. My 10 year old brother is very similar to this boy. He is nonverbal and has ASD, and they are not completely aware that leaving a parent/guardian's supervision is dangerous nor do they understand danger themself (depending on how far in the spectrum of autism they are on). My brother has also wandered off and tried to run away and I can tell you his own Dad didn't even notice he ran off to a large field next to the park we were at because he is so silent. Blaming the child may be reasonable in most situations, but not this one.
It is so unfortunate this happened. But these people never watch their kids. Always on the phone or just gossiping. Stop running your mouth and play attention to your kids.
