Not every year the skimmers win last years winner was the green crew cab dodge. Doesn't really look like it but theres a slight turn in the middle of the pit which makes the skimmer guys either go out of bounds or let off enough to make the turn but loose their momentum. This year was just the best one yet with the badass rigs that showed up.

Yeah, they might've done some work but I doubt they haven't paid someone to do something, or most of the work done to these machines because not many people have the equipment to lift a truck almost 8ft into the air and to put 60 something inch tires on it. not all those were that extreme but saying that someone built it without giving credit to companies that did some, if not almost all of the work is bad. Production or not, a machine is a machine at the end of the day and someone built it.

I think the other video had a lot more water so it could just float. This one is mostly wet mud so there's a lot more resistance. There's probably other factors too.

I dont think some people just understand the physics and math lol big tires skinny and heavy trucks wont work because the ground cant support the weight at those speeds, to win you need small but wide tires with a light aerodynamic body, your not trying to wade through the water/mud, your trying to ride on top of it, the big trucks and skinny tires will only work at the right speeds. The guy needs more experience driving the Sherp,,,The Sherp has already dominated on these mud holes. The experienced Sherp drivers turn around and finish at the start! lol

They aren't impossible to get stuck. The tow rope probably didn't help.

@@BustedKnuckleVideo Possible I guess, never seen one get stuck ever on any terrain even in Northern Russia. I believe he did not use the wheels properly to basically paddle his way to more solid mud for traction,,I agree that tow rope is never needed, but not sure any tension is on the rope when they drive.. Many mud hole tracks use big ass front end loaders to pull them out!

What I'm looking at is a big heavy fire hose strap that is taught, and heavy. Even the Sherp driver is looking back at the strap afterwards. Yeah, drag a 200 ft fire hose caked in mud. That's not going to work. He needed to be disconnected. And perhaps that tow guy was playing games he should not have. Look how taught that tow strap is.
