90,000 Snow Geese: The Great Migration at Middle Creek Pa. Wildlife Management Area 

About 90,000 snow geese take off from a field near the lake and the trail viewing area at Middle Creek Wildlife Management Area.
Middle Creek is located on the Lancaster County and Lebanon County lines near Kleinfeltersville, Pennsylvania.

On March 8, 2021, official migration numbers were:
*Snow Geese: 90,000
*Tundra Swans: 1,050
*Canada Geese: 1,500
The 2020 migration snow gees peak was 125,000 on 02/21/2020.
The 2019 migration snow geese peak was 150,000 on 03/12/19.
The 2018 migration snow geese peak was 200,000 on 02/21/18 (largest number on record).
The Middle Creek Wildlife Management Area is a 6,000 acre area located in Lancaster and Lebanon counties in Pennsylvania. It is managed by the Pennsylvania Game Commission.
