Great review. Has there been a firmware update for these since launch to fix little bugs like that audio gap issue? (I wouldn't expect there to be :-p )
Have you tried the RayBan Meta glasses? Besides their integrated cameras (let's just neglect this for a moment), their sound & microphone quality seems promising for 400 bucks :)
These glasses look great. I use bone conduction, but can definitely see the advantage of these polarised audio glasses. 99% of the time, I'm listening to Audible, so the micro-sound blank after 2 sec of silence is terrible. Hopefully they patch these and extend the mute activation time to 10 seconds of audio silence. It wouldn't affect battery life by any noticeable amount.
Without the 2 sec sleep these would be INCREDIBLE for Audible, podcasts, that's what I loved using them for. I couldn't find any app that would offer firmware patching, and the QR code on the box just takes you to WeChat. You're right, it couldn't make a noticeable amount of battery difference as the 5 hours of 100% vol playback is with constant signal. Hopefully they release a new model with the same simple Wayfarer frame design, switch to USB-C & fix the Bluetooth semi-sleep fault.
@@camshand Please try this workaround (for iPhone) and let us know if it works. This forces a very quiet, constant background noise whenever media is playing.: Go to accessibility -> Audio.Visual -> Background Sounds Background Sounds ON Dark Noise, Vol 0 When Media Is Playing ON Vol with Media = 1 If that doesn't work, try ramping up the volume until it does.
Hi! Thanks, they are great. But after a couple of weeks, I stopped listening to the assistant and could not connect to Bluetooth. What am I doing wrong?
I'm trying to find official production description by the brand but can't find any... (can't even find LECOO official site). Could you share us the link you ref?
After 4 months have passed, can you do an update? I want to know if it is easy to replace the battery. I purchased a pair of OnO , clear lens, audio glasses. Worked great for three weeks but battery then failed and they won’t charge. To change the battery means getting the soldering iron out!!! and very fiddly to do! Thinking a buying a pair of these instead.
Well there's no app that I know of for these glasses, so I can't believe there'd ever be an update for them. Also they're not easy to pull apart, I somehow lost one of the ribbon cable braces so I only have one speaker working now haha... the battery could be replaced, just easy as the inside parts of the arms are glued on
@@camshandi know im late tocthe party but whats the best way to open them? Heat the up? Alcohol? Did your glasses have a noticable white noise in one of the speakers? Btw now they ship with usb c.
It's Google Assistant on my Android Phone, shown when I asked it to change tracks and emphasised the ability to ask my garage door to open as it's assistant enabled 🙂👍
