My tactic for the start of this: Upgrade 1 damage for 1 shot yellows, then upgrade health and regen to 3, 1 each etc till you reach 3, then 1 penetration for 2 per bullet, then reload for about 2/3, then speed to 2/3, then fire rate for 2/3, upgrade to whatever, then upgrade those pretty much, body damage is the worst possible thing to upgrade as everyone runs basically, well they're too far to melee into, THEN *takes breath* spread evenly amongst until you max out. Try it and I guarantee if you're even the slightest bit good you can get maxed if you dodge properly. Like for other people to see this and good luck to everyone playing! Well you just need to balance them out, dependant on the class you choose you can max it to 7, so for example for octotank you can get max reload for insane firerate or damage for the overlord

My tactic is farm and then mashed gun then gunner and then auto gunnner sniper assisting and then stalker or ranger twin two cannons then the 3 cannons flank guard trigangle and rocketship
