Looks like a good weekend for 90 Mile Beach. Hope you have a good one. 👍 Here in SW Vic however we have 3 to 4m swell, so this weekend is for the Surfers not the Fishermen. 👎

My brother used to have a caravan at the caravan park they used to have on the foreshore there. I know they used to get Bream out of there.. that's all I've heard. There's probably Flatty's in there?
The ever changing faces and moods of the 90 mile. Had a quick flick at Delray yesterday morning…..got one solid salmon and one very respectable mullet. Really, they were the only two fish takes that I felt…. it would not be an exaggeration to say that every cast was intercepted by crabs….close in, mid channel and as far as I could cast….different lengths and angles did not make a difference. I suppose you have to take the good with the bad. Tight lines mate.
Yeah I dragged one crab in few days ago. Would've kept it if it was a bit bigger... lol Don't mind a feed of crab. Gotta work out a way to target them. Cheers Mark 👍
Was talking with my brother who told me that he was down at Delray (a while ago now) and saw some Asian gentleman with some “hoop style nets” which they threw out about 5m from the shoreline….left them there for a while and every time they retrieved them they had heaps of crab in them. Paul said he couldn’t knock those fellas because they were catching exactly what they were after and they were having a great time.
@@Mark-ew5jm I've tried the hoop net, but the waves just tossed it around. Maybe I'll try and weigh it down with something... I'll give that some thought.
