its funny how infuriated i become when youtube makes me watch an ad before any other video..but now i'm watching a video that is nothing but ads and i'm actually enjoying it because it feels soothing and nostalgic go figure lol
@j85 yes that would be awesome if pizza hut did that, they should go all out retro and go back to the old style restaurants with the red roofs and the old logos on the signs and roof. the old logo was so simple, yet so appetizing somehow
1:25--I have Season 1 of the 1960's "Batman" TV show on video. Coincidentally I'm right in the middle of watching it while watching this video and writing this comment.
I agree and it would be great if burger king went back to making their fries like they did in the mid 90's and back to the old design with the red and yellow lines on the bags and cups.
LOL @ that pizza hut commercial at 0:40 reminds me of the time this one pizza delivery guy got someone's adress wrong and came to my house, but instead of telling him he had the wrong adress, I bought the pizza instead because I was hungry HAHA im going to hell lol
This tape sounds like it was already a low quality recording like LP and then on top of that it seems like it was watched a lot. Or maybe the tape was already a second or third gen recording...
I love jingle all theway lol owning both I can safetly say the satrurn asucked.compered to N64. best game on it though was Dragon knight. but as always bravo..more 90's commercials please
Fox ran 4 episodes of The Simpsons that night, leading to the premiere of TOH VII. The '96 holidays were not a good time for kids movies. Jingle, 101 Dalmatians, Larger than Life, Space Jam--all pretty forgettable. My college roommate had an N64 and a PS. No Sega in sight. I always wondered how they did those Duracell commercials. Didn't make them any less unwatchable. People, it's just gum! No one won the lottery or anything. The Series was over, so The X-Files did air.
Definitely miss the old Pizza Hut. They have lost their damn minds with all that freaking garlic packed on the crust now. And isn't the pizza boy the same dude from "Pete & Pete?" Goosebumps was my show! (Dun! Dun! Dun! Dun! Dun!)
oh man fighting vipers was the best sega fighting game (unless you count SoR2 but thats technically a different genre) i want to play that game so badly but i still cant run it well in MAME :(
@gundamfanandhobbiest These days suck ass. I guess we should be grateful that there is still $1 dollar burgers and chicken sandwiches. Who the hell am I kidding? I wish somethings would revert back to the way it was in the 90's.
Rick Gomez did a TON of ads in the 90s, for BK shoes, Super Nintendo games, and tons more. I thought the Saturn was dead by the end of '96. And it's kinda unfair to be knocking on a 2-month old N64 at the time, they should have targeted the far better Playstation fanbase. Tons of boneheaded decisions by Sega's American division, not to mention mediocre third-party publisher support dragged the Saturn into obscurity. Sadly, the Dreamcast would also share the same fate. :(
