The thing is the "Boy racer" scene was the scene! lol What else was there? no other modded scenes around. When I started modding my E36 early 2000s, there was Trax, Max Power, Revs, Edition 38 (maybe later) BMW Gaydon shows....

Maxpower came out in 1993 when I was 15 and last year of school, I was already into my muscle cars Hot Rods and Dragsters so in 90s bought loads if mags each month. The scene back then was much better, kids wanted RS Cosworhs, Renault 5 Turbos, RS Turbos etc , now its financed Audi's and Beemers and SUVs I remember RS Audio's I still have my mags and read em now and again. Loved going to WH Smiths to buy my mags. 00 cars , Tom Mak Evo , DC5 Integra , CSL is now 20 years old , where has time gone, I remember when it came out and was on Top Gear. Audi RS4 the B5 is it? That came out about 14 years ago 414hp 4.2 V8 N/A , Clio 182 Trophy , and the Clio Sport V6 are on the rise. You should do a top 10 favourite cars money no object podcast

yeah, I feel like people don't have the same attachment or love for cars anymore. They just finance it, abuse it and move on to the next one realising they can't pay off the balloon payment.

I was going to buy a mint Renault 5 raider for 2500 quid couldn’t insure it tho so I didn’t get it I also had a skyline r33 gtst that I swapped for a corsa gsi And I went to look at a Clio v6 once was £8995 in a garage up the road from me so gutted I didn’t get that 😂 what a idiot lol

Im from South Africa, when I was in high school, I used to buy Speed And Sound magazines, the Max Power mags were out of my price range, but then my dad surprised me with buying me an issue, the front cover had a silver R34 with blue racing stripes on the hood. Little did I know that the magazine had naked women on it😂😂😂.
