Technical guitar is cool, but REAL guitar is like this IMHO. When you can feel the musicians soul through the instrument, but that takes me back to my favorite quote about music in that good music like this specifically "comes from where the pain lives".

I’m East Tennessee Applachian mountains born and bred. My family is still there and have been there for over a hundred years, coal miners and farmers….or doing whatever they could to earn a living…..Independant, Strong, survivors……that just want to earn a living to provide for their families and be left alone , especially left along by the goverment. Descendants of the Irish, Welsh, Cornish and Scottish that came to this area to live free. And this is the kind of music I grew up listning to….just a few men and women sitting on the front porch or around a fire , picking and singing…. No desire to make it big, just singing for family friends and for the Glory of the God that gave them the talent to sing and pick at church on Sunday. Hardworking, humble people ,……and survivors. I love this music…..It’s the honesty and rawness , (and that it’s the voice of so many of us that are voiceless , ) that makes it so good .
When I read or heard that Hank Williams Jr. is an influence in your music it all made sense. I just want to encourage your voice. Not just what we hear in tenor and wail but also in what you say. Don't ever water it down. Always be you, whatever that looks like from day to day. Enjoy your land, your dogs and your family and friends. Who's Daddy didn't have a Chevy growing up in the 1960s, my Dad's was croaking🐸frog green with🦈fins. 🌹I enjoy these working class country tunes and I can hear the🕊Angels👏🏻applaud everytime I hear Chris sing his country hymn songs. Keep the🩸blood🦇sucking music $industry$ away from this man, they're all $money grabbers$ and have killed many great gifted musicians. Just wanted to thank you for this song. Had to let the sadness pass. This was my first marriage, the one that lasted 37 years till he passed in 2008. Only it was a '65 GMC 3/4 ton, with some damn fine dogs. Brought back memories. You don't need a lot of money to have a good marriage and memories like that. And good dogs are out there if you look.

A studio album is the last thing he needs. What is the point in recording overproduced songs, paying for studio time, paying the producers, the engineers, the session musicians, the record company producers, the marketing team and every other parasite and only keep 3 cents on the dollar? #1 songs recorded on an IPhone. Pretty sure he's good.
@@dylanr1749 you do realize a studio album means just recording in a studio? He can literally do it however he likes. It doesn’t have to be produced or have a record label attached to it. Just a collection of songs recorded on proper equipment for his fans.
