@@nixremix the amount of brake you apply without abs to prevent locking up your wheels is how much you would brake to prevent the abs from taking action. Therefore it would be quicker to brake with abs rather than locked up wheels since the tire slides across the pavement like if it was ice
@@bpl101 i said most race cars. There are no comparison on both different cars. I am aware that most cars in the 90s arent offered with abs. But whats with that "them in heaven". People raced in official tournaments (not only f1s) without abs on their cars and theyre still living today.
@@teme5529it’s not disrespectful they are in a race the driver has so much adrenaline because he’s focused on staying on the track and staying alive instead of not redlining the car
Lol no he rev matched it cuz it was semi sharp corner. You have to slow down a bit and but maintaining the momentum. That’s not sketch… that’s called skill driving 😅😂
Yeah cause the guy doesn’t even kno how to use the clutch your supposed to let go off the clutch slower to shift again I was cringing real hard when the guy was letting go off the clutch super fast and goin in again for another shift
@@__Yusuf63The cars are meant to be driven, that’s what he’s doing and pushing them to their limits. If you just want to baby your car and let it sit don’t ask misha to drive it
@@quez6955 ik somebody already explained it but to go into further detail, without abs your wheels would lock up under uncontrolled heavy braking. This causes your tires to slide across the pavement, it's not only bad for the tire but skidding to a stop actually takes longer than if you were to keep the wheels spinning. So basically how abs works is when you apply your brake the cars computer will make micro adjustments on the brake by relieving some of the force, keeping you just on the edge of locking your wheels but not quite, in order to maximize your braking efficiency without being a professional driver.
@@quez6955 Also you can't steer in the normal fashion if your front wheels are skidding.. ABS helps lessens the likelihood of you skidding/sliding whilst braking into turns and corners
@@pollux2825i dont understand how he is dumb or knows nothing about cars, am i missing something? Downshifting at 8200 is wild. Then he says yeah it hit 9k which doesn't surprise him, then you call him out talking about 800rpm i dont get it...
@@travelreview5962 simple math shows 9000-8200=800 so thats where I got that from. When you downshift especially at that high of RPM, The RPM will spike far higher than 9000 RPM. Meaning you’re over revving the engine causing major damage and potential failure on your engine and transmission since you’re downshifting as well. It’s just wild to do like I said, especially with a car that isn’t even yours that someones letting you drive🤷
I’ve spent a few decades driving 250hp to 400hp RWD V8s on the roads and I am good at it but I would need a Valium to sit in that passenger seat with no racing safety gear. It made the hairs stand up on the back of my neck just watching.
@@BleedForTheWorld Seriously. I know for a fact Misha could drive my car better than I do, I would still never let anyone, especially not him drive it. Dude drives cars like a homewrecker.
@@patrickchapman9881 lol he's saying it's crazzy.. I'm saying no, it's not Crazy it's standard for some. And you're right. I probably do think im a better driver than I am, But I'm still better than yourself and someone saying this is " crazy "
He's a real pro, very rapid to test the brake as he notices there is no abs and finds the non splipping point perfectly in time for not smashing it at the first turn
@scott.baierscott2198 Yeah mate! (what's that guy all about). He said it like he was test driving a car and the salesman was proud to confirm that the car had/didn't have the feature
This sure does make me miss my 93 integra. To be 17 again with a little race car and no responsibilities... Honestly lucky to be alive and didn't end up hurting anyone with the dumb shit we used to do with that thing
Why not? That red line is almost meaningless. Its a race car right? Of course the owner would race it right? Ur gunna be in the red if ur racing, especially with turbos. As long as u keep an eye on oil temps, ur a okey
Aah the good ol' Civic days. Could push mine to 8.500 no problem. 200.000 KM no engine problem, only rust took us apart 😢 Honda did good with this car 😊
93 accord 250k+ 96 civic 280k+ 01 CRV 240k+ All sold due to rusting except the CRV which blew an exhaust valve and continued to run like that for several thousand more but traded it for the 96 civic.
@@SaltCaramel420 Yeah my friend had a si that could go to 10. I'd take it to the gas station to get snacks at work and loved driving it. His younger brother drove it through a flooded road with the cold air intake and blew the motor. The replacement motor was so much weaker it was never the same
@@stpbasss3773 Never the same when you blow the first motor for some reason when I blow my motors I usually end up building a new one so it’ll feel like I gained from it because it’s depressing when your car isn’t the same after a motor or wreck or whatever it may be😢

That’s what’s great about low power engines. You can go through the revs and hear it all before getting up to speed because the power is so low. Underrated aspect of cars.
B series were actually really good at making power compared to modern engines. What they lacked was torque, not that torque was important in such a light chassis anyways.

@THEYHATECMB idk man his face doesn't really scream "that's exactly what I wanted you to do" 🤣 more like "did this mf really just do that" , owner doesn't seem pleased as soon as he went to 9 and continued to ride it at 9 the whole way
Sochiro Honda's knowledge about metallurgy was unmatched. Honda valve seating tech was adopted by car brands all over the world. With fresh oil these engines could only be destroyed by downshifting incorrectly (as happend quite a bit with the S2000).
