No its not possible unless it has some crazy compression ratio. And then it wouldn't have enough space to hold enough air and fuel to make 900

No way is it making 900 with only 22 pounds of boost. Even if this run is 900 horses it's not on 22 pounds of boost, 900 horse capable sure but not on 22.

it looks like a b20 don't hear any vtec or a h series motor but series are a little flatter on top

+John Haus that's deff a VTEC head. it has hood exit exhaust. there's no way you could hear a crossover. and it's not an h series. it would have more tilt. so prolly a b20v, lsv, or GSR.

lol, spoon is not known for making power, they are more of a road racing and accessory company. The built B series easily can rev to 10k; having a big turbo actually helps airflow (not limited by cam size like in NA)at high rpm. Many b series have held to 11k and over 1000++ whp with factory crank nonetheless.

Same thing I was thinking. But psi is also only a measurement of resistance in the intake tract so I wonder what kind of intake mani set up they have.

@@zunetrav4 the intake plenum volume and the sizing of the turbo along with other factors of the engine internals(displacement, compression, camshafts,) and tuning are what made the power. The argument you used discredits and downplays the efficiency of the b series vtec heads. 22 psi with a 70mm turbo and 22 psi with a 60mm turbo with the same motor wont yield the same results.

High comp for sure like 10.1 at least.

+Corey K ya maybe usually with a build of this magnitude and hood exit it should crack pretty loud... it could be the power band your hearing...it would be kind of weird to use a b20 head though...hmmmm

I think they keep the hood on for the fan, because if there was no hood, the blowing air would just fly over the car, wit the hood it can be angled down into the engine.

lol I think you've got that backwards...

On boost the K series will typically make more power per psi than the b series. The B is very efficient for being designed in the 80s and its valve sizing isn't much smaller than k20a heads. The K20 heads flow quite a bit better than b series heads so they should make more power with little boost.

Kinda ironic coming from a 4g63 fan lol. Vtec heads dont need lots of boost to make power like the 4g63 does. People have made over 800 whp with stock camshafts with vtec heads lol.

@@vtecnegro85 People have done 670hp+ on stock head and block SOHC 4G63's man. People have also made 800+ to all wheels on the 63/64 DOHC stock blocks as well. Funny how you act like Mitsubishi's ain't been doing this shit long before you Honda dude's came along so you needa sit down relax lol.

+Anthony Ellis Definitely. Turbo size can't make up for everything. It would need to be running closer to 42-48 to get near 900.
