@@luismiguelcardenasabril54 Golden wind is not really a MAFIA anime, very over the top and doesn't focus on things like gambling prostitutes - it is a more light heart anime in a way.
@Felipe Andrade Baccano is one of the first mafia anime I had in mind. However, 91 Days is a more realistic depiction of mafia life without supernatural immortality elixirs
What a masterpiece anime, way too underrated. It's the only anime I can recommend to someone who doesn't like anime. One of the very few animes that doesn't have those cliché, cringey tsundere, "baka", obnoxious characters.
Just a guy that really loves Yut Lung I don’t know what you’ve seen and what you are looking for. But off the top of my head, ACCA, Psycho-pass, Tokyo Ghoul, Casshern Sins, Ergo Proxy, Cowboy Bebop, Samurai Champloo, Trigun, FMA, Code Geass, House of Five Leaves.
@@Prodigi50 I have seen Tokyo Ghoul & Psycho Pass. I wouldn't say that Tokyo Ghoul is completely cringe-free but it's bearable. Thanks for the recommendations!
@@randomname3709 O would recommend you too Devil Mam Crybaby. it is Original ,doesn't unecessary content PD:It include explicit scenes, recommended watched alone
I love the dynamic at 1:16. The opening song is meant to make you feel what Angelo feels: all his anger, hatred, depression, and vengeance for the men who killed his family. However, when faced against those who wronged him, he remembers the night that started it all, and with his gun trembling in his hand, his face shivering with anger, you begin to realize that he’s not some tough guy, but he’s the same scared little boy hiding in the inside of his closet.
I skipped like maybe two episode of the Tokyo Ghoul OP that has the same singer, but for some reason when I binged watched this, I could not find myself skipping the opening
@@havoc1426 bc of the music and to get in mode. It has so much emotions and u can catch that every time when u hear this song and do looking the opening video
@@izayaorihara9999 thats true theres only 3 people we have any connection to still alive: theres nero but he'll likely die soon since the biggest mob in his particular region wants him dead and hes alone(unless he somehow escapes to newyork or Louisiana tho thats unlikely since i dont think he has alot of money), theres that guy who was driving with nero and angelo during the last episode but no one really cares about him, then theres angelo(who i believe is still alive since we dont see any blood or a body during the finale scene heck we even see the footsteps continue down the beach indicating that he kept walking so i assume he's still alive) with that in mind what would he actually do during a new season he could join the mafia in Chicago but i doubt he wants to do that so i don't really know what he could do besides that. there isnt much you could do outside of maybe a spinoff although it would be almost a copy of the first season so I'm sure it wouldn't be well received. So here we go neros Sister finally has her child and he grows up wanting to kill angelo since he destroyed hisentire family (although thats kinda weak since it happened before he was born but it could still potentially work with good direction)
I remember watching this on a gloomy weekend, It was at the peak of my clinical depression. After this anime I felt a bit more sad but found a new meaning in life. Others have it worse then me, and I should be grateful for what I have and who I am as a person. As a wise man once said," you dont need a reason to live. You just live".
@@looniemoonie5955 Yeah that makes more sense, he did write Katharis as well after all, got to say some of Toru's music and the music of Ling Tosite Sigure absolutely slaps
Something I really like about this opening is that it reminds you at the start of every episode why Emilio is doing this, no matter how close he gets to Nero's family. This show never pulls the "well they're kind of my friends now so what do I do?" The revenge agenda is never once put to the side.
Tk captures the feelings of every character in the ops so well, they should do every op for any anime that’ll eventually give us depression Cuhs hot damn depression never felt so damn good
this anime was my saving grace in middle school and I’m so ready to rewatch now in my senior year. the freaking intro! it makes me cry I love it so much
I love this freaking anime!!!! It’s so realistic and so underrated, like personally I love mafia type movies, and to find an anime that suits that genre made me so happy. It’s emotional and action packed in such a little span of 12 episodes. Truly a masterpiece 🤌 Even the opening song *chefs kiss*
I think by the end his purpose for not killing Nero wasn't because he wanted him to suffer, but because he actually cared for him (Like the line in episode 12 "The reason I didn't kill you was because I didn't want to kill you"). But what you said was definitely accurate a bit earlier in the show, like when he was making the plan during episodes 10/11
This was on my watchlist and I finally got around to watching it. Oh my GOD???! It’s a beautiful revenge story. We don’t get much information about what other characters are like (it’s 12 amazing episodes so understandable) but you know enough. Good animation, that matches this fast-paced story. The ending…well go watch it !
"A life for a life and if everyone thought like that, there would be no one left on earth? You don't gotta have a reason to live, you just live. That's it." ~Nero Vanetti
this anime was so underrated, the part in the intro when he’s thinking of his family and holding the gun hits hard bc he was preparing himself to go on a revenge spree.
the guy is such a mess, a brilliantly written brilliant mess, but a mess all the same. Moat of the time I felt like screaming "WHY?!" at him . . . . . that anime really did a number on me
‼️91 days episode 12 spoilers‼️ I don’t really like types of anime like these because it’s usually really confusing to me personally but 91 days is such a masterpiece. It’s more realistic than fantasy. The last episode left most people confused if avilio or Angelo was really dead. That’s what I like most about it.
One of my favorite anime of all time, I hope you guys uploading the opening gets it the attention it deserves. The story behind its production and the show itself are both triumphant and inspiring.
I love how I’ve never heard of this, then instantly recognized the band doing the intro. Shoutout to Psycho Pass and Tokyo Ghoul for introducing me to these guys. I might give this anime a try now.
You have given the FBI (Federal Investigation Bureau), the CIA (Central Intelligence Agency) and the NSA (National Security Agency) permission to surveil you for "potential terrorism" and "preparation of a neo-fascist coup d'état", you are now under mass surveillance until proven innocent, your father and grandfather are also on trial for war crimes and neo fascist uprisings, you have 91 days to prove your innocence and you have 420 days to provide a certificate of non-owning of a weapon and certificate of inherited land after 1945, else you will be extracted from your home nation to Guantanamo Bay or a random sicilian Italian prison, you are guilty until proven innocent!
@@cordrobertson6864 I told this to some other guy, but the show was based on a book, and there's no new source material, so anything you get wouldn't be canon, therefore it might not live up to the expectations and would (personally) ruin the story. It's best that this stays a stand-alone thing.
It feels like Angelo was trying to find a reason not to end every single Vanetti and Galassia he faced, but couldn't. They were all either vicious, jaw-snapping beasts or moribund things dragging their paralytic hinder quarters and whinning in misery. All rabid dogs waiting to be put down.
