It ended, because in anime they killed an important character (they didnt know yet, cuz manga wasnt over at that time), then they didnt know what to do next, so they cancel it.

I read the manga. Pretty average overall, great concept with blood powers but very meh execution, shallow development and a pretty generic happy ending.

@@purplejinxer3478 Havent read the manga so no comment about the quality, but the take of "generic happy ending" I do take issue with... at least when it comes to anime a "happy ending" is not really guaranteed nor really all that common, maybe if you are reading a romatic comedy or a harem anime, sure... but most animes that I have seen to conclusion (which is hundreds at this point) seem to have a bitter sweet ending (more bitter than sweet) so I am actually really glad when an anime has a proper happy ending.

@@astraySparrowhe’s literally lying, at the end we see they beat the death game and set a lot of ppl free from deadman wonderland, but tbh the ending is really unclear and could’ve been executed better because it seems like it just “ended” without showing completely what happens after they beat the death game that’s literally my only issue with the manga, the unclear ending

Hate, rage and anger is what this opening delivers, it's what each of the characters feels. It's in my top 5 best opening that is accurate in conveying all feelings and revenge

this anime deserves to be remade by another studio, the manga was fire. it was the first I read as a kid since i was dissatisfied with the incomplete anime but glad to be able to continue it way better with the manga. Still, one of the best OP of all times in my opinion.

The fact this anime came out more than a decade ago in 2011, it was one of the most groosam and well animated animes at that time in my opinion. Sadly, we didn't got to see a continuation of this. No idea how it ended. Best opening by the way. 😏

Bro what in the fuck is a groosam?! bahahaha XD It was a pretty good show, id watch more of it if it existed, but i'd say its very far from being a gruesome show, i mean especially when theres shit like Tokyo Ghoul, Higarami No Shrine, Attack on Titan, Gantz, Akira, etc

Recuerdo por halla por el 2011 - 2013, este anime era de los clásicos junto con Mirai Nikki, Tokio Ghoul, Another, Swort Art Online, One Punch Man, Shingeki No Kiojin, Naruto, Death Note, Highschool Of The Dead, Parasyte, Elfen Lied, entre otros. I wish with all my wish for Madhouse or ufoTABLE to just nut up and reboot this series. It should only take like 2 seasons but man would those two seasons shake the world. As good as the anime was, it didn't even scratch the surface of how great the manga is.

It wasn't "cancelled", anime is literally promotion material for manga. It's VERY rare when manga gets more than one season, if any... just look at Petshop of Horrors, semi-popular series with 3 sequels, and all it had is 4 OVAs.
