@madisont8529 The people hating are almost certainly sent on a mission from their praaaayer group (or other such nonsense) to combat the heathens, yadda yadda. Also, it's comically obvious that many of those frothing nutjobs (who loudly declare they'll stop watching) _haven't_ actually ever watched the show and are just here to earn their Abrasive Asshat merit badge; so it's a zero loss for the network.

OMG, that is so sweet! This man knows his character. Honestly, I was a bit surprised that Buck wasn't always bi, that this is a new situation he's finding himself in. And kudos to casting because the chemistry between Buck and Tommy is amazing! Also kudos to OS for being so articulate in putting Buck's headspace into words.

Buck has always been used to there being Eddie and Chris in his life, so for a new person being in the picture all of a sudden, it's a bit daunting. And tommy if you look closely actually looks a bit like buck in some ways

I think in s7 will be the time unless this it will really be slow build for them. Buck has to be more comfortable with himself. Eddie has to figure out his feelings. They both do need to think about Chris because they are sharing him and raising him together.

So, being with an opposite gender will be new for him. I'm glad he feels relieved when he releases those new feelings. When Tommy kissed him u can tell he looks really happy that it out. That could of been what he's missing.

The characters have been queerbaited from the begining, they even formed a pseudo-marriage, and they are even father figures of a kid. So no they are not "woke", they have been put into the "slow burn" category of romance in media. But some people like to repeat catch frases like "go some go broke" wothout even understanding the context, which clearly doesn't apply here.

@username-rx6qo This is \ the stupidest argument for a show like 911, which has been extremely and wonderfully progressive for literally EVERY character. Woke, a term used to define being aware of systemic social injustices of the world, is one of the most important parts of the show. Whether it's Hen needing to fight her way to be recognized by her first sexist and racist boss, Chim feeling underrepresented in the demographic of firefighters, or Athena needing to teach her son about the unequal treatment of black Americans in the criminal justice system. The show has ALWAYS been this and it has continued to thrive on viewership. You should have clicked off the show since season 1 if you don't like it.

I have no problem with gay characters. I DO have a problem with a show pandering to fans/shippers. There was no indication that buck was Bi.. like at all.. he was a pure ladies man and a little bit of a womanizer. Then, women and the lgbt community started to ship a perfectly platonic relationship and the show caved to it. I would have no issues if Buck was bi from the start of the show (like Hen was gay) or even if there was breadcrumbs for the start. But this was a silly storyline just mean to please the shippers that they got to do because of the network move.

This is life for some people, as a gay man who has been with straight men, who are now Bi or now gay, it's alot to deal with. Gay , quee=people are everywhere, we need to be seen on the big screen to make it okay for younger generations to know its OK, to feel what you feel. Either this or harm yourself, I love this for a fictional character. . Embrace this change in tv. Queen people are on mainstream now.

"Gay Behavior" what does that even mean? Lol. You know around 90% of characters portrayed on TV today are straight, right? And what does this have to with Diddy? I mean the reaching here is beyond absurd and comical lol. Being gay and preying on minors (which some,if not most, happen to be females in Diddy's case) isn't the same, you know that, right? So ignorant and homophobic. Educate yourself and be a better human.

Fans have known Buck was bi since the first couple seasons. All the clues and hints were there. It just took him time to come out to himself and accept his feelings. So no this wasn't done on a whim due to "wokeness" and having to "make every character gay 😒
