I see from the comments below you used a 964 motor but is it FI or carb or mechanical FI right now? The reason I ask is because it sounds pretty lumpy on cold start-up as if it is down by 1 cylinder. Does it smooth out when warm?
Hi there. beautiful car and it sounds great/thoaty with some good power. Do you know of anyone or any company that will do a large 6 cylinder motor swap and trans for a stock 71 914. thanks alot Mike
Thanks I love it too. It's a Bendpak MD-6XP. But since I bought it, it looks like they make a scissor lift that is designed to be flush mounted which looks super cool.
@@siverson914 Would love to see a walk around video and driving video. Any challenges with keeping the 3.6 liter engine cool? Is the 901 gearbox able to handle all that extra HP?
