This was a few years back in the Azores with a pretty jacked up 950+ lb Blue Marlin on bait and switch. Sorry for the shaky camera and cursing. I was a little excited as well. It was the biggest fish we saw in 24 days.
*Altogether a well made lure **enjoyable.fishing** recommend it’s the skirt seems to stay on well and the whole thing is bigger than I thought it would be. The 2 metal have a nice plating on them as well.*
*Great item. First cast out of the package caught a nice bass. Pulls smooth in the water and sets up nicely immediately upon retrieval. Worth adding to your tackle box.*
The guys we were with catch 10 or 12 granders every season and fish 750 plus 3 or 4 times a week, so I think I'll go with their estimation over yours you are making with your wealth of experience criticizing from your couch. But we appreciate your input.
+Billy “BillyBA” BA pretty sure they are running specials on flights from DesMoines to someplace they catch Marlin. You should try to get some time off work in the corn fields and go catch one. It's really fun and it might give you better perspective on what they weigh.
