Happy Knaus/Weinsberg owner here again. The starting price of the van was €84,979, it would have been interesting to know what the additional extras were to take it up to €95,394. Certainly the carpets would have been one item, probably the Omnistor, probably the self levelling system and probably the Satelite dish that was on the roof together with the TV. I have just checked the energy performance rating of Samsung ans Sony TVs and they all seem to be rated F or G so that Avtex fitted to this van is actually typical of modern TVs. I think the bedroom layout would work better with cupboards along both sides and no cupboards at the rear so that you could sit up in bed to read/drink coffee etc. As usual Alan you are advising people to avoid Knaus, but then in your live chat last night you were saying that Niessman & Bishoff and Mobilvetta were no good either. As I have stated in response to your previous criticism of Knaus, the warranty is administered through the dealer network and Knaus support the dealers with parts, labour costs and technical advice. I am not sure why you imagine that they would respond to you as a RU-vidr? I’ve only owned my van for 11 months and the only warranty problem that I’ve has was a LED light which developed a fault. This was dealt with efficiently and quickly.
Because the TV energy performance is F that waste much more the motor home batteries, so I imagine I owned that motor home and I will change the TV to A+++ in this motor home Alan.👍
Few of these in RHD around dealers in the U.K. on the MAN base. They put a gas oven in for the U.K. market which unfortunately leaves very little storage in the kitchen. They do have automatic transmission and air suspension as standard on the MAN ones so hopefully they would drive nicely.
As a fellow Knaus owner I would be very interested here what 'your' experience of owning a Knaus is? You say the roof is not resistant to hail but that may have changed, which leaves us wondering what is your experience with regards to this? Your comments with regards to the open storage at the back I do tend to agree with and it needs a net which we have fitted to ours. Personally having owned one of these and a Euramobil, I would say the quality is better in the Euramobil but as mentioned by the previous commenter the service you get with regards to warranty depends on the dealer, ours has been absolutely brilliant. So would disagree with your comments around warranty.
Andy I am referring to the management of the company, I appreciate that it is the dealer who should deal with things. If the dealer turns out to be useless, then who does one turn to?
On form tonight Alan. A joke in every sentence. Interested in the headboard. Something that drives me mad in my Hobby, can't sit up and spent a lot of time getting my head in the hole.
Another vlog containing personal statements which are not accompanied with any any sort of explanation or providence, and which manufacturer(s) were you referring to when you made comments around financial irregularities? I'm not a Knaus owner, i was just someone who watch your vlogs from time to time.
@@robgardner6399 I see, so you want me to mention it on every single video do you? You can either accept my advice based on my experience or you can do without it. It is up to you. But don't blame me when you have problems. And perhaps you would be good enough to resolve the problems of those who buy Knaus vehicles, I can pass your contact details onto them if you wish.
a lot of the negative things you are pointing out aren't negative for everyone, keep your opinion to yourself and just show the car, if you don't understand what I mean, watch how other people showcase motorhomes/yachts @@VanlifewithAlan
@@meistariaron1854 You failed to answer the question. You think that people should be conned in order for the victim to find out for themselves. If you cannot handle the truth, then you need to concern yourself uniquely with fairy tales.
Why review a Knaus and be totally negative if you personally don't like Knaus thats fine but a review video should be objective You appear to make any Knaus video you do personal. Bad form imho
I own one of these vans, Alan just loves the sound of his own voice. Half the time he simply doesn't know what he's talking about and covers this up by being sarcastic.@@VanlifewithAlan
