Awe man this takes me back to 09 when cluster swaps were all the rage. I remember sitting on my patio with my stock ef cluster and the 94-97 gsr cluster and making a custom pin out to convert my dash harness. Been rocking the integra cluster since! Fun fact, the ef chassis actually has the vss wiring in the dash harness. The stock mechanical cluster mechanism also generates an electronic vss signal that is sent to the ecu, so no need to run extra wires

Usually when im adapting a harness to work with different plugs and i may want to go back i cut the wires and pin them to connectors so i have different sub harnesses i can switch to depending on what parts im using keeps you from having multiple pigtails getting tugged on and damaged

The dimmer was tweaking out …. Is dirt /lint in the switch Don’t even have to lean it …. Just turn it up/down like 20/30times , it cleans it Learned this from a old school stereo repair man! Same if you have a volume knob that makes static Sound

Dope cluster conversion! Makes me wish i wouldve kept my ek9 type r cluster... I didnt want to even try to get it to work cuz i thought it was too hard. Obviously you make it look easy and it would take me way longer but its now a possibility. Thanks man

Bro you should get the 97-01 crv cluster. They are identical to ek and used the same harness and pinouts, but they are all amber color

U should replace the stock headlight bulbs to Nighteye LEDs (the ones with the heat sink) They’re on eBay dirt cheap and they’re much better and brighter than stock bulbs. I run them in all my cars.

Yo, Young, why does my h22 eg need a couple of revs to stay idling? If I just turn it on, it'll fire up but then die. Also happens when coming to a stop. If I don't blip the throttle, it'll die. If I heal toe it, it'll stay on. What gives, homie?

When doing an engine swap what main parts should I focus on? For example Ecu? wiring-harness?

Focus on all of it. But focus on one thing at a time. If you're putting fuel lines on, don't stop and start messing with the harness unless you can't go any further without doing so. Trust me. If you start bouncing from thing to thing, you'll forget to tighten a bolt, plug something in, bolt something down etc
