The blower quit working in my 1998 C2500 due to the connector for the blower switch melting. And of course, it stopped working in the middle of January. This temporary fix lasted over three years and worked up to and including the day that I really fixed it.
It's hard to find legit bosch/tyco relays and relay sockets online, I use these:
