Common issue on this body style of F-150. Wipers quit working. Dome light and door chime also quit working.
Happened after two days of rain, driving home in thunderstorm.
Issue turned out to be water intrusion at a body seam, located near bottom left of windshield. Seam between fender and front cowl sheet metal, hidden under plastic cowling that covers wiper motor.
