I have a 97 accord with the f22b1 need to know what your setup is. I've got a few things in mind of my own but I like how yours goes. mostly interested in what fuel pump, injectors, and clutch you have also what ECU. please get back to me I have a 1200$ budget which needs to be everything including motor mounts. I work at a parts store so oil lines and all the small stuff is not added into the price I'm swapping my radiator out with a civic rad and removing all my AC components
mymitsu6g72 tbh i really have no clue. i bought the car like this. the guy i bought it from said everything was stock except the clutch was stage 3, turbonetics turbo, intercooler, and wastegate with a gredy bov and lowered on coilovers. i jad the car for 6 mayb 7 months and went to race hit 165mph and melted a piston and didnt have the money to fix it so i traded it. that was prob the dumbest idea i ever had i was runing 9psi
run an ebay turbo kit, 400 cc injectors, warlboro 450 fuel pump, head studs, and get a chipped p28. that should put you about where you wanna be budget wise and get you to around 200-250 hp safely. PUT MOST OF YOUR MONEY INTO THE TUNE!
how did you get it to red line all the way I just turbo charged my car 1997 Honda Accord f22b1 super nice and everything works it just won't go past 5k rpm unless I really slam the pedal anything helps
These F22 motors will run about 250 hp safely with the right fuel mods and tune, you can push it to 300 if your tuner is a wizard and you have head studs. past that, internals are recommended. but once you do that they can push 500 pretty easily.
