I love it, I bought this red 93 new, pre production special order, I have a $50,000 standing offer, but I'm sure not ready to sell, not done having my fun yet.
Nice ride, I can't imagine why you would ever sell it, I have 2-93's, this red one is a pre-production special order, one of a kind, I ordered it 4 months before they went into production, we did the Cannonball One Lap of America with it 7 times, I have a $50,000 standing offer on this car, not ready to sell. I bought another black 93 that was wrecked, I built it into a road racing machine, so I retired the red one from racing, now it's just a street machine that will whip anything that comes her way, I prefer the LT1 for road racing, this black one is one of the fastest cars on the track, built both engines the same, producing 640 lb-ft of torque, 383 LT1's, naturally aspirated.
my first car was black 1993 Z28, 6 speed with t tops that i bought in 2000 and guess what its still sitting my garage right now and have no plans selling it any time soon. I freaking love that car and if someone offered me 50000 for it i would have hard time letting her go. I have never taken my to the road course ive been to drag strip few times but I am actually planning doing that first time this year. I have spent last few years doing some suspension work on it. I did BMR lowering springs with yellow adjustable shocks, Strano sway bars, I did 3 point weld in sub frame connectors and strut tower brace. The engine has only few small bolt ones I would be happy with just upgrading the cam on it right now never mind what you have done to yours and I would also like to upgrade brakes on it, i was looking at doing ats 4 piston brembo swap on it.
@@alexs101 Nice man, if you diced to track it, before the first time, you have to bleed the brakes good unless you have within the past year or so, if you get the bug and keep going you will want to go with high temp. fluid and bleed them every year, soon look into a front wheel hub adapter that comes with a C6 Corvette racing hub, pretty expensive but a must do especially if you start running sticky tires, could do the brakes and hubs at the same time, I use slicks, Strano markets them, the brake upgrade you mention is very good, don't change the rears, you can't get any better, I went with Wilwoods, all big brake kits are good, as you get faster you will learn that you will need brake cooling ducts on the front, that should help you get started, if you live in or near Michigan I could help more, good luck man.
@@user-Dr. Thanks, yeah I am familiar with x-tracker hubs and was looking at getting that the same time when i do the brakes. My friends are like you don't need any of that you'll be fine, so I am like OK let's go once I'll take it easy and see how it goes and see how much I'll like it, LOL. I have a feeling its going to be a blast and I am going to get hooked on it. I would love to meet up and go racing with you but I am from Alberta Canada some distance away haha.
@@alexs101 A couple more things, before we lose this link of communication, when you do a brake upgrade you will need to get steering knuckles off of a 98 or newer from a junkyard, and if you make a cam upgrade, you will need to get it tuned, being obd 1 it is getting hard to find a tuner, maybe you know someone but if not I found this place since the guy that had been dyno tunning for me died suddenly, really good guy, but I found this place on line, (PCM for less) get ahold of him, (call him) you will need all of your specs, injector size, cam specs, he'll tell you, if you plan to move forward with a cam swap, I would get ahold of this PCM guy before you even buy the cam, he may be able to help make sure your cam is right for you and your engine, also I recommend Comp. cams, I have all of my cams made out of billet, I've had too many cast ones break, good luck.
The little square head lights look better imo than the later models. Yours looks nice. I had a 95 medium quasar blue it had same lights cool scoop mine was v6
I looked at it again and I think I know what happened. The guy I used to ship it down here had it sit at his place for a week or so while he hauled another car (didn't know that was going to happen as I paid for enclosed shipping). But I think bird poop sat on it that whole time and etched the paint. I haven't tried to remedy it yet, but hopefully it can be fixed easily, don't know much about paint repair.
