Lol, the babies LOVE attacking mommy, don't they? My kitties are a lot less excited about it, but they still love walking all over me, jabbing their cute little paws into all the soft parts! Soooo painful, but they're convinced it's cute! These fish look amazing! Although I think you mistook the tail pieces for the deep blue one as fin pieces. I'm pretty sure 1 and 2 were supposed to add to the fullness of the tail and just be slightly angled away from each other. I love all the other fish. They look so realistic and you lined them all up perfectly! I can't wait to start doing projects like this!

i saw this done in a chines bowl that was white inside a couple of yrs ago but the man painted each layer of the fish was increble ...im glad we have stickers cause iv wanted to do this for yrs ...thank you

You could put a "sand" colored glitter/mica as a first layer...just a thought...maybe color the "water" a very light blue ...my thoughts...they are beautiful as is tho! 😊❤️

Very pretty. How about using black sand? Your first layer wont be so thick and you will be able to make each consecutive layer a tiny tad thicker so there is more space between eack sticker of the fish. This will make the fish look even more 3D

First of all I LOVE the new mold. It’s so nice to have them all together. I thought maybe you could do the edges with a blue metallic marker or do the base with blue and pebbles if you want to have a little bit of the water color. These are worth the work because they are each different with lots of character! Thanks for sharing.

The blue fish is a male indeed... male beta fish are more colourful and theirs fins are big... female beta fish are smaller and so are theirs fins, they look more like a regular fish. Great project, it turned out nice.

I have a bunch of those and have done some in small bowls. I want to do a river table with them in it.

That would be really pretty with light blue Resin. Just a pail blue ink so it has a blue hue. You just another thought, what if you didn't torch and left the bubbles like in the ocean or fish tank? Also what if you bought cleaned sand at the hobby shop and put natural ocean colored sand in the bottom? I just love to watch your Resin work. Its so fun to watch. Exciting to see the entire process and finished product. I've got my 7 and 5 year old granddaughters watching you. Oh my gosh those fish look so, so real. Fish coasters are just amazing. Your birds are just amazing. I just love hearing them.

My heart was melting watching you and your fur-babies. 😍 I was thinking that maybe if you use tweezers to place the stickers, then you wouldn’t run the chance of getting resin on your skin. And they may not shift as much after placement because of sticking to your fingers. Great video, I don’t mind the length of your videos either 🤗😊

with the oil slick look you can wet sand it a bit and then rub a polishing paste on it. Maybe?

They look great! Can you set a hot cup of coffee on the coaster and it won’t leave a mark? Is that high-heat resistant top coat?

I'm just nuts over this fishy collection! I think I might want to do pretty much the same beginning with a thin layer of pretty swirled sea blue colors under the gravel and maybe the slightest hint of blue in an intermediate layer but careful not to ruin the color of the beautiful fish. I'm so grateful for your experience and lessons!

Hi Julie!! 👋👩‍🦳️👋 These really are wonderful looking!! I've watched a video about an artist who hand painted this type of art between resin layers, but how cool to have stickers for the rest of us!! Especially for your first attempt, you did great!! 👍👍💯💥💯👍👍 Isn't it just the most heart-warming feeling the way our small canine babies tell us they missed us!! I loved seeing them climbing all over you!! It made my heart feel good, my Shi Tzu does the same thing. I would recommend getting gravel next time, the stones look really oversized compared to the size of the fish. I think you will be surprised at how good these will look on black gravel, except for fish that are black like your blue/black Betta. Next time that you do a white gravel coaster, you might think about adding a tiny, tiny amount of blue alcohol. I don't think it will affect the fish coloring, but it will help with the water effect. Also keep in mind that, without going to extremes, the more distance between layers, the more 3-D your fish will look. Using the small gravel instead of the larger stones will definitely add more room vertically. God bless Julie and have a great week!! Lots of love!!

Totally gorgeous! I would only change the fins a little in my opinion they are too bulky? like to many fins they have 3 I think -I don't know that's just my pickiness but you are amazing and I wonder if you could do those in reverse- fish first then plants then rocks and when you turn them over the project is like your floral coaster style.? just a thought.

i really want to try this , but i have recently heard a lot of bad reviews with resin, how it can make you sick, do you wear a mask and gloves ?
