That's a great point. I'm going to have to get back out there again for another video only this time use a big shoot and see Target or something like that. That should give some more definitive results.
Good shooting.. FYI not all bullets will hold stability as they go sub sonic. So first where does it go sub sonic??? On a paper 1000 yard target you can tell if it is a hole which means the bullet holds stability and points along with the trajectory or if the paper hole is elongated as the bullet maintains a nose up position in flight and is loosing stability...

Back when I first bought it, the 4 and 5 weren't released yet. The 3 was the newest iteration. To be honest I'd love to get into a 4 but dang they don't give those away and I work for a living.
I have two 3s and a 5. I’ve sent the 5 back but I’m sure I’ll be happy with the replacement. The 3s are awesome. And they have lifetime no questions asked warranty’s.
I hated my Burris Eliminator 6. Cause I can't find out my ammo "Hornady precision Hunter ELD-X 7mm PRC" from CARTRIDGE list. So Disappointed ! Waste my money! 😭😭😭
Beyond the angle of drop, (don’t have personal experience for this round at this distance) there is azimuth correction for wind and for spin drift. Did you do an azimuth correction or just elevation with no azimuth correction? Fresh painted steel targets always tell hit vs miss…
I actually like it a lot although it does struggle to get range out that far. Eventually I would like to get my hands on an Eliminator 4. These Eliminator 3s actually do an outstanding job out to about 850 yd but beyond that on non-reflective targets it is a struggle to get range. I should do a review and product video that focuses on just that optic. It really is pretty awesome technology. Thanks for bringing that up.
4s and 5s easily range non reflective targets to 2000yds, you can also wind magnification down to bring dot back into scope for shot solution, the 5 has upgaded glass and 20x magnification@@TheMaineiacguy
