We're living in a globalized world. I just want music directors to come clean and mention and give credit to the original composer from where they are getting inspired or lifting the song. Many of us know that our music directors do lift songs from Pakistan.

I hate political views of India,Pakistan and Bangladesh(mine). But I grew up by listening Pakistani Songs in Bollywood. Just like Mustafa Zahid,Farhan Saeed,Atif Aslam,Ali Zafar,Falak Shabir many more. When I got little bit mature then started to listen Pakistani Bands. Both India and Pakistan have perfect combination of talents. I can't include Bangladeshi Band songs with these because of language barrier but I am proud of my Bangladeshi talents. But we share our culture with West Bengal(India) because our culture matches with these songs and arts. I really miss those 2011-2017 era. Please be together and without spreading hates please please make more movies,dramas,songs,cultural collaboration,arts for this youth and upcoming generation and put a middle finger to those who spread hates instead of peace. yes, it's truth but I can't understand why bollywood copies too much, I mean it is only bollywood even hollywood, lollywood and tollywood also copy but the amount of copying songs by bollywood is just on another level, can be seen in every 2 to 3 films. Well there is no doubt that Pakistan has a huge talent. That's why Latta G said about our great legend Mehdi Hassan Khan Sahab "God sings from his throat". Who can compete? No one. But we being Pakistani should be aware of our work and struggle that is easily taken away from us.
There are many songs which are "copied" from around the world , as we sometimes blindly, without much thinking about the technicalities say so. (not justifying the copying without rights and all)BUT, there are words like 'inspired', 'sampled' which we audience should also keep in mind before saying so. Also many songs are made out of NOSTALGIA too. People cant be so blind on spewing hate, that one absolutely sidetrack those senses and emotions. One doesnt have too an Indian to understand this- the moral standing a country (here India) too because of its national security threat as it is, by not allowing those Pakistani artists in our films, also denotes our moral standing. But the kind of HYPOCRISY, some of the Bollywood film industry known filmmakers are doing is really disgusting, appalling!! We Indaians should really put it out there in there face. If they DONT HAVE THE ABILITY TO CREATE GOOD WORKS IN THE FIELD OF SUCH MAINSTREAM ENTERTAINMENT BUSINESSES, then they should not be allowed to do so.

I personally like old Hindi Music and grew up listening to Mohd Rafi and Kishore Da. Bollywood being influenced by global music is not a problem, but not giving credit is. Our public is so straightforward and trusting that they are not aware that our God like music directors, behind closed doors, love to copy tunes from around the world and pass it off as original. Creating original music is not easy. It can take many months and a lot of trial and error to compose one. Even after that song may flop. Success ratio is less than 10%. But have we wondered how our music directors quickly churn out 80% or 90% hit songs from a single movie in just a few days? You guessed it - by copying! But thanks to RU-vid, it cannot remain hidden for long 😀. I think there is plenty of talent in India that can create great original music loved by people around the world. However this can happen only after we stop glorifying copied music.
Well kesariya isn't copied from laree chooti, kesariya is in the key of C major and laree chooti is in A minor which is the relative minor of C maj i,e. Both of them has same set of note but C maj gives happy vibes and A min gives sad vibes. Moreover kesariya is more technically complex than laree chooti... so its a win for me
