The clockspring hs power supplied, directly. Al else on the steering wheel, is switches on the negative side.

Great video. Was changing steering wheel on my 00 GT and when I took the wheel off i saw what looks like the end of a zip tie hanging out of the clock spring. 🧐🤔 I have no idea what it is. I see nothing inside yours that looks like it.

NEWS FLASH !!!!. You do not have to remove the Dashboard OUTER BEZEL nor the Top part of the COWLING. All you have to do is separate the cowling about an inch from the steering column to clear the plastic outer ring from the module. Get your Clock Spring from FORD PARTS GIANT, they have the best price and it's a real ford part.
