99 Camaro SS 6.0L Head / Cam Fly By and Burnout 

Possibly one of the best camaro videos on RU-vid. The car sound + ambient noise make it superb.

It's been years since I first saw this car, and it's still the best sounding LS powered ANYTHING on the internet. Period.

Redline @ 7000rpm, ohh that sounds raw ! I had goosebumps listening to this 6.0l LQ motor, getting to redline & hitting the rev-limiter ! 463RWHP rips the asphalt, I saw you were loosing traction in 4th gear, AMAZING ! BOSS car man.

@lopezten002 Thanks! Yes it's a LQ9, they are direct replacement of LS1 engine. The single cutout is after the high flow cats, between the Y pipe and the axle.

Hey I have a ly6 similar making 464hp thro an auto yours sounds sicker tho. What exhuast do you have from headers back that thing screams. I have tru duals im guessing you might have the y pipe still?

Did you have any trouble getting the 6.0 to mount up to the t56? I am looking to do a similar build for a 46 chevy pickup and have heard about some possible problems with the engine/trans matching up (input shaft). Nice car!

Strange, this sounds exactly like my old 1997 White LT1 with Pacesetter Long tube headers with straight pipes (SLP Loudmouth exhaust) & K&N cold air system. I have to say it sounds better then my 99SS Ls1 Pacesetter Long tube headers, hollowed out MAF, and Hooker exhaust that exits my SLP Center exhaust.

Yes with aftermarket heads and fast 102 intake, a bigger cam, bigger exhaust, you can get near 500 whp.

To all those that are saying I can't drive a stick. Have you ever drive a 450 whp car that is loosing traction to the limiter when you slam the second gear? You don't early shift a gear because you hit the limiter, because you'll kill the momentum of the engine and I'll say to you that YOU need a shifting lesson! Sometime, I don't want to pedal it, that's it!

@38snipshow 50/50 Street and track, its not my daily drive. I love my 4.11, a 6 speed need a 4.11 gear !
