I thought 9h is amazingly easy to apply & it works very well.the car is so easy to wash&dry off.i would recommend this product.thought you RU-vid video was very good to
Hey. U just got a sub. I'm looking for honest straight forward review and I was looking for this product for my car and this helped me. I'll see check ur other vids and upcoming. Good job and good luck with channel.
Just received 2 bottles myself....$15-ish....Appreciate you doing a comparison, as you are correct, the only ones out there were done BY the manufacturers of Mr. Fix. As for constructive criticism...I would only say, maybe a better comparison, would have been to clean, clay and wax the entire car, and then only do Mr Fix to one side. Then we can see if we can get away with simple clean, clay, wax.......I will be trying mine this weekend, maybe will give my two cents here.....Thanks, again, for the review!
do you know why everything in same quality is cheap in China?! because RU-vid Channel is not allow in China! Still confuse what im saying? ... No RU-vid = No Advertising Fee... this are all problems of underinvestment and overconsumption...and... thats why American Collapse is a Disease. And You Might be Next.Godd Luck to you and your family. Amen
I got this stuff to try on my satellite dish. Hoping the rain snow and ice won't be able to stick so much. Gimme time and I'll try to get back and let you know if it works at all.
Hello, I have a 2009 jetta S black. I spray jet black detailer or speed wax by Lucas on it and the paint looks amazing. I would like to know if this 9h mr.fix-it would have the same effect as the spray or just helps protect the car paint.
Friend I do not agree if the car is old or new or cheap or expensive car to use correct products . It depence how you feel and treat your car. I agree to good products. For example I am using meguiar which are very good products not all of them
I was just looking into this product and i noticed u said one side was clay bar, polished and this item. The other side nothing. Well when i polish my car it beads up so how do we know it’s not the polish beading up. To do a real control test both sides should be prepared the same then just add this item to one side. Would u do that test? Just to confirm it’s the item and not the polish ?
Correct answer to this is yes, every ceramic manufacture tells you to do multiple coats because every coat bonds to itself...its not like wax where your just gumming up the pores in the paint...this product is meant to level out your paint and create a actual protective layer...hints " glass " coatings....so technically your first application is your leveling coat and your 2nd and 3rd are your real protection coats...so when they say it will protect up too 12m, 2yr or even 5 yrs they are expecting people who are applying this have done there research and know to apply multiple coats, if you only apply 1 coat your lucky to get 5 months depending on temperature and what you have washed your car with...like I explained in my other reply, temp will break any product down...this product says its good to 650 degrees, highly doubt that...1 coat in a high heat state and wrong products while washing your vehicle will completely ruin any coating...so always do at least 2 applications of any ceramic and after it has cured for the correct amount of time...then you find a ceramic friendly wash, clean your car then apply a good sealer just for extra protection...if you keep this up your coating will last the life it suppose to.
Not that I want to pick on your words, but I do find it difficult to agree with some of your points you've made in the video. Here are a few things that I would like you to elaborate on: - When you said you doubt the MR-FIX coating will last for more than a year. What are you basing this on? - When you said if I pay $50 or more, I can get way better coatings like Cquartz or Optimum Glass... Again, what are you basing this on? Obviously, the price has nothing to do with the quality of the coatings. If Cquartz and Optimum is enforcing its minimum MSRP at say $75 for their 50ml size bottles to their dealers/retailers, then you're paying minimum $75 for their products, even though it could've the cost them $2 or less to produce their products ... And finally, I was hoping you would have done a side by side comparison between MR-FIX vs Cquartz (finest/professional, etc.) or vs Ceramic Pro after 50 days of weathering. But unfortunately, all I saw was comparison between non coated vs coated panels, which still doesn't make MR-FIX better, equal, or worst than Cquartz, Optimum, or Ceramic Pro...or any regular waxes and sealants for that matter. I want to see how MR-FIX stacks up against the major brands, who charges astronomical prices for their coatings. If you do the test against these major brands, then it will be a more worthwhile and conclusive video. Something like what this dude did in his video. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-rlCKKg81hSc.html Cheers.
GearHead RD I'm basing the longevity on the fact that it's a cheap unproven coating. If you have the money go ahead and buy a proven coating like cquartz which has a 2 year guarantee for $50.
GearHead RD I don't have the budget to buy expensive coatings for testing. I'd love to but unfortunately I don't make money from RU-vid or any sponsors. If you would like to send a product for testing that would be the only way I would be able to test things side by side. I'm out of resources for this channel already and the lack of subscribers doesn't help.
I don't doubt that MR-FIX works to a certain degree, but I would take their 2-year guarantee as a grain of salt. Just like how Ceramic Pro or CQuartz claim to have a ~5 year bonding life and claim their coatings are permanent...(if your car is stored in a climate controlled capsule). We all know they don't back up their claims when the time truly comes, and they all would just blame everything from road and weather abuse to how you incorrectly washed/maintained the car. Hence, I was hoping your video was going to show how MR-FIX fared against the major brands in your 50-day update vid. But yeah, it's unfortunate that you're lacking the funding and resources to do true comparison test that can otherwise get really interesting.
GearHeadRD Since you're so well versed and informed on what needs to be done why don't you make a more detailed and complete comparison video so we all can get the whole picture instead of criticizing a guy who first stated that there wasn't much out there on the cheap alternatives to coatings, and who basically started the conversation as a result. Now you come along even though his video obviously attracted you, only to criticize. I can say that I enjoyed the video and now am purchasing the cheap alternative for my own testing on grandmas Buick so I can see for myself, plus she'll just be happy with just a clean car.
