***** Finish reading the manga(up to Vol. 38), the plot started give off shonen vibes, so it will be easier to read and it's getting better. Plus, can you visualize the disturbing panels away, like really away. Just destroy the cringe off your head with the sheer willpower. Me, I didn't mind because sociology made me understand the dark spirits that make Berserk complex.
When the opening is better than the animation of the anime. Rest in peace Miura EDIT: Btw some people is calling me "Millenial" for criticize this, i think u dont understood a shet bois. Berserk 2016 and 2017 had a good argument following the manga references (Except Conviction Arc). For this reason I say that the animation is very bad, because the story is good and it makes me angry that they could not have done it better as they did with the '97 anime or the 3 films that included CGI and the animation was quite good.
I saw nothing wrong with the animation, and the story closely followed the manga. Don't know why so many people trash talk the anime. Personally I waited almost 20 years for a new Berserk anime and when I finally got one I wasn't disappointed, that's all I gotta say.

It won't. The only thing that could harm Berserk's chance of getting a good adaptation is if manga sales were poor. That'll never happen as the manga always sells well. It's not as obscure as many people make it out to be.
That's what separates berserk against other mangas or anime it really does feel like we have struggled with guts and we hold on tight to what we love and fight for it forever and our adventure is not yet over we are all strugglers

In addition, Takuro mentioned that many 9mm tunes maybe affected by world/atmosphere of Berserk unconsciously.
