@@YolandaK i have a 4 month pit bull and she already thinks shes a lap dog,I can only imagine when she’s bigger. But im big on getting her trained and keeping her that way.
Take him to doggie daycare and literally everywhere you go to get him socialized again. It’s so important for them to be very social at a young age. From my experience they will still act like that till 4 years old. But trouble is still a baby. he will start to listen more the older he gets while you still train him. LOVE THIS VIDEO! You so good with animals❤️❤️ I wanna see more of y’all please.
16:00 It’s a teenager phase, you just have to be patient and consistent with him. Firm yet gentle as well. Training should be done throughout a dog’s life. I learned from my two dogs very well.
I always wanted a Cane Corso but I changed my mind because Idk if I could handle that kind of breed. I just wish I could visit or at least volunteer with certain dog breeds to see if I could handle that breed on my own
Trouble is the cutest!!! The way he just sat there while you cleaned up 😩 He's becoming more curious and playful as he gets bigger lol I would say constant training and patience you're handling him well zoie!❤️
Dogs are like babies I SWEEEAAAARRRRRR you gotta stay on them. The older they get the more the kind of push you and rebel. That's where disipline plays a big part. Ain't no days off as a parent. Ain't no days off as a dog parent.
He’s starting to test your boundaries! Dogs experience terrible ones, so you have to really be stern with them. Also, training is super important. My puppy is 10 months old and she does that too!
That's exactly what I'm going through with my Cane Corso her name is Xena and yess Chile she definitely test me more now and I know it's cause I haven't been as consistent as ai was when she was a smaller puppy. But patience is key forsure. Xena picks up on my tone of voice so that's how I manage now and I am repetitive with her to keep from yelling or becoming frustrated. But she is a great dog I love my big girl. She is 7 months btw🥰
He is still a baby Zo, dogs are kids up to 3 years old. You have to be consistent with training. I’ve always learned any moment with your dog is a training moment. You just reward them for consistency. There will always be times when he slips up and does things out of disobedience but that’s simply bc they are kids and you have to consistently stay on them. I have a red nose pit bull. He is 1 yrs old 🥰
Not a boring video, you should keep making videos like these..it doesn’t always have to be about messy Monday, even though I enjoy it but I also enjoy your other videos too! Cute dog as well, wouldn’t expect you to have a big dog like that!
I feel you! My puppy is 8 months and she act like she don’t know how to behave! I find myself constantly repeating commands 😩🥴 like girl you know what it is!!!
I love messy Monday but getting stuff like this from you zo is amazing and btw thank you for messy Monday zo cause you really missed your fathers dinner for us we are so spoiled 🥰I can watch you for hours such a pure spirit 🙃
Baby love, you named him "Trouble". You spoke it into existence beloved lol. For real tho, I always thought dogs will naturally attempt to assert their dominance. You just have to remind him that you're the Alpharetta, Georgia. Hee hee, the Alpha.
I grew up with cane corsos and ovcharkas. You have to keep the training going all day everyday, and at his age zoey, lol. He's a teen. He's gonna try and see how far he can push you. If he feels he can, that can be disastrous when he reaches 5 years old. Keep on top of him. Also when he is obedient, make sure to remind him that he's a good boy. Positive reinforcement goes a long way with big breeds. Let him know he's good and doing great. Also, giving him a reward after he listens to you, for example chicken breast or even a ball or toy that he loves. Clicker training is perfect for this. Tell him to sit, when he does you click, then treat. If you do this he will be well mannered by the age of 5. If he's meeting someone new, or if he barks when someone knocks the door you can train him around this Also. For example get a friend to knock if he barks tell him no. Try again until there's 2 seconds of silence. That's when you click then treat. Approach your training this way and he'll do amazingly. And remember to tell him he's a good boy. Love you zoey. 😍
yk it’s actually refreshing to see somebody care and take care of they dog cs most ppl do not bother learning about how to care for their dogs and just cage them😭😭
Aww Trouble is so cute!!! I had a doberman/lab mix for nearly 20 years, patience for big dogs is key but the training will help in the long run, trust! And space to play and get all that energy out, backyard is ideal but when we were in apartments I'd take mine to the community tennis court and throw a ball around with her.
I had a Chinese SharPei and they can be stubborn as hell. I have found that stubborn dogs often get board and they love to learn. He listened more when we would train and learn new things
Yes Zoe when they become teens its just like us humans. They become more hard headed and act alittle more teen like. Have him trained again and he’ll be more obedient. Also if you feed him blue buffalo its known to give dogs cancer. Farmina N&D is one of the best foods for dogs with zero by products and more lean protein which is perfect for corsos! Love ya zoe!
My dogs are 1, 2, and almost 3. They all listen but mainly when we're in the house. The only one not too hyper outside is the 3 yr old pit bull. I taught them the word "bye" meaning go to their room. Lol it looks like you're training him very well with the treats.
I’m an animal lover with a lot of experience you’re good with your fur baby! Just stick with his training and you guys will be just fine. Please post more this was faaarrr from boring!
@@XXOVXXO__ no not at all love lol. I’m no expert but I’ve had many different animals. One piece of advice would be patience wholeheartedly no matter what you’re trying to teach them. Stick with it and don’t give up it may be challenging or easy depending on their personality. They don’t comprehend or contain the same thought process we have. Depending on what breed you get definitely do some research on them. What kind of temperament do they usually have& would it fit yours? What kind of foods are the best for that breed, what climate is best for them, what type of exercise do they need & would that fit your lifestyle? Not all bad behavior comes from them just being mischievous they get bored, lonely etc and may be lacking stimulation. Especially with working dogs. I had a Rottweiler and I thought he was the most mischievous little thing in the world but I quickly realized I needed to change up some of our habits for his sake; rottie’s are hard working and very intelligent dogs. He needed to burn off some energy. On top of patience I would also say socialization is huge too for dogs with other animals and humans! Dogs already have a natural instinct to protect, some more than other’s. So isolating them isn’t the right decision. I feel like that’s why people do it but I could be wrong. Establishing dominance is important as well, dogs will quickly take over if you let them & that’s a no no. My most important advice is LOVE your baby! Whatever dog you decide on make sure you love them. No screaming or hitting they’re only animals just like we’re only human nothing is perfect. With that being said, they are literally one of the most beautiful creatures on this planet! Very patient, emotionally intelligent, loyal and brave. Pour into them and you’ll have the bestest best friend you’ve ever experienced lol. Sorry the response is so long winded. I’m sure I missed some things but that’s just my thoughts on it. Good luck!
Hey next time Trouble is in need of a spa day check out Happy Hearts pet care in ATL!! There small business, and black owned They also offer doggy daycare, grooming, training, etc
I liked seeing you interact with trouble and him being the focus of the video. Usually he’s in the background acting like a bad child 😁 so this was cute!
I have a cane corso and they are VERY dominant dogs and not for the novice dog owner. They require a special kind of discipline and consistent routine and patience. I love love my dog. Can’t imagine my life without him. ❤️
Trouble is soooo cute !! 😭😭🤚🏾 I’ve been thinking about getting a Cane Corso for a few months now and seeing this was GREAT 👏🏾 it really out some things into perspective for me .
I have 3 Pittbulls. They are just like kids. Once u teach them u gotta keep them disciplined. When you go on walks and stuff reintroduce his training with treats. He’s actually very well behaved for real lol. Love you guys Zo!!!!
Zoie I love this video!! It’s so relaxing to watch ! I would absolutely LOVE to see more content with you and trouble for sure!!! I can’t tell you how awesome it is to see you and trouble together! What a beautiful dog. Bring us along to random training sessions you have with him!! You will maybe help other large dog owners too!
Trouble acts just like my son. Blatantly ignoring me, when he knows good and doggone well that he knows his name lmboooo such a cutie pie tho and you’re so good with him!
Zoie you can make a video about anything and I’m going to watch you. Your vibe is everything. You don’t know how much your videos make my whole day. Keep doing what you’re doing babe. I love you from one Gemini to another ❤️
