Man I was just watching and focused on your sound and anticipating you letting it roar and suddenly that lady with hearing aids comes on…. I laughed so hard. I had to rewind, becuase I missed it. I have 2013 v6 x 6 MT - I want to keep resonator so I dont have loud noise right on me when on highway but do not want to spend money or Borla. I also do not want it as loud as yours. Is it possible to put in new mufflers with some welding that sound better than factory but not crazy loud? I can not find it anywhere. Thanks for the laugh.❤
Thanks for watching! You can definitely cut off your mufflers and weld on new ones. As for your exhaust, if you don't want it too loud, you could do a custom 2.5inch exhaust. I highly recommend doing a custom exhaust, in my personal opinion I think custom sounds better than most aftermarket exhaust for the accords, besides the Borla. Mine is a 3inch thus why it is very loud.
sounds very nice, just bought a 2015 6-6 and have yet to put anything on. quick question about the wheel setup, are you running spacers on the front or does the back just naturally sit inside the wheel well more? planning to buy some new wheels next month.
Honestly I do love it more than the single exit. The dual exit sounds more clean and crisp meanwhile the single exit was just loud and obnoxious. The single exit did sound good too though.
Always check on Facebook marketplace and other places. I found my rv6 high flow pre cats and J-pipe on Facebook for a huge discount because the person didn’t have the car anymore. So I snagged them off of him for a steal, they were brand new and came with everything!
i wanted PCDs too but apparently it’s discontinued and you literally cannot find them anywhere. i know there’s only like a 5hp difference with the HFPC which is still in production so it wouldn’t be a bad route to take.
I ended up getting tons more actual power gutting the factory-styled pre-cats, porting the outlets a bit, and running a 3” high flow cat welded into the ATLP V2 j-pipe. Lots of high end power, but I noticed a loss of super low end torque.
I have on of these in automatic and I’m trynna get this sound I was thinking about buying the rv6 hfpc and atlp j pipe and do the custom 3 inch with 1 ultra quiet resonator. Do you have any recommendations?
You should definitely do it! start with 1 ultra quiet resonator.. and if that doesn't satisfy you and you want a deeper tone, then add a 2nd one :) hope this helps!
You’re gonna need really good resonators on any K-series 4 cyl engine. Even if you run an eBay muffler at the end, make sure it’s somewhat fiberglass packed. The 4 cylinder engines are so easy to sound like shit, compared to the V6. Deleting cats will also make any setup raspy, but it’s somehow worse on some V6’s.
Yes, it definitely does. The larger the piping diameter, with less bends in the exhaust, it will lose low end power, and there’s lowered back pressure ofc.
@@Peace-Of-Mind- Yes, it would keep some of the backpressure that a 3" single exit would have. I would personally only run a full 3" dual exit on a forced induction setup that makes over 4000+ WHP.
