This is probably the best example I can think of in which a producer can take a previously used sample, and flip the entire tune and intent of the song. I personally like this beat more than when Havoc used it.
One of the best MC's of all time # Masta Ace !!! That album is highly under appreciated by most. Never under-stood why there's trash rappers that get all the hype yet actual talent gets put on the shelf like Masta Ace, even Em will tell people whom his Idol was and still is. Would love to hear Masta Ace on some Apollo Brown instrumentals or DJ Premier back in the day.
