@@Lucashallal yeah you're right lol, i have no idea how i got that number (i think i messed up letter pair count with loci count sometimes :P). I actually calculated this time closer to 140 which would still only be about 0.06 letter pairs per second
@@perigoncubing 12 types of centers + 6 types of oblique edges + corners/middle edges = 19 sets of around 12 letter pairs each. That is approximately 230 if im correct. Maybe you are using a different method than me?
@@Lucashallal you're right about the centers - im tired and forgot to count both oblique center orbits. though, im not sure how you have 6 oblique edge types, as there are only 3. My new calculation is as follows 12 centers = 12 x 10 letter pairs avg corners = 4 letter pairs avg middle edges = 6 letter pairs avg wings (what im assuming you refer to as oblique edges) = 3 x 12 letter pairs avg = 166 total letter pairs on avg im using a more exact alg count for specific piece types, might be why our calculations are so far off either you have also made a lapse in judgement for the oblique edges, i have misinterpreted, or we do use a slightly different method :P
