A$AP Rocky is just a likeable cat. And he's absolutely right about the freestyle shit. People are scared to go off the top, because they don't want to get embarrassed. But that's wack. Yeah, he fucked up a few times, but he also had some dope moments. And cats like me don't remember the mess-ups. We remember the dope shit, and the fact that he had the balls to go for it. Besides, he's too swaggy to let a sub-par freestyle fuck up his shine.

THIS is what the term freestyle actually means.. Notice how at times Rocky stumbles or stutters, everything he's saying is completely off the dome at that very second. Who cares if he isn't spitting the deepest verse? At least he maintains a flow and displays impressive free-styling talent..

I respect it, you can really get an understanding of how artists create their music in process when you see things like freestyles happening. From Migos to MF Grimm, though some individuals are better at just blanking their minds and creating than others, you can appreciate how their work comes into full fruition. Rocky and other A$AP members never shy away from freestyle requests and we've seen this trend for 4 years now, regardless of how "nice" it was, it was good.

This was so much better than so many of the other freestyles on Sway. You can see him thinking about his lines and it's insane that he's able to drop these bars straight off the top. Rocky and the whole asap mob always sound like they freestyle of the top of the dome. Which makes them stand out to me more than other rappers in the game since everyone else sounds like they spitten writtens.

Lmaooo Asap had me geeking for a majority of this video. He's definitely one of the chillest rappers- you can't fake that kind of charisma. No debate over his freestyle because that was actually off the top and you have to respect it. I wish his album (though I liked it) had more of this kind of style on it.

Just watching asap makes me smile nigga is a bright soul. You can just tell he loves what he does and he loves other people. Humble and genuinely nice. Other people in the industry take note to this positivity that he's radiating instead of being all about ego and money
